This study proposes the implementation of a chatbot in the Reference Service of the Berilo Borba Sectorial Library, linked to the Centre for Applied Social Sciences at the Federal University of Paraíba (CCSA/UFPB). The research, which is exploratory and descriptive in nature, is based on the bibliographic method and uses a qualitative approach to data analysis, investigating the effectiveness of AI in modernising the Reference Service. The focus is on the development of a virtual assistant aimed at improving user support, offering quick answers to recurring queries and automating routine tasks, which enhances the efficiency of library services. The implementation proposal generated a diversified menu of options, promoting greater accessibility and speed in service. The results show that the system can reduce dependence on human service, allowing librarians to dedicate themselves to more complex activities. The conclusion is that the automation of reference services in this library can provide a continuous, personalised and accessible service via WhatsApp. Editor: Universidade Federal da Paraíba Tipo: TCC

Título: Tendências temáticas do curso de graduação em Biblioteconomia da Universidade Federal da Paraíba: revelações dos Trabalhos de Conclusão de Curso Autor(es): Salustino, Sunamita Ferreira Orientador: Feitoza, Rayan Aramís de Brito Abstract: Research carried out in areas of knowledge is of paramount importance for up-to-date contributions on their respective subjects, generating a range of knowledge that serves as a scientific basis. It aims to analyze the thematic trends in the final works of the undergraduate course in Librarianship at the Federal University of Paraíba between the years 2017 and 2021. Methodologically, it is a descriptive, quantitative and qualitative research, of an applied nature and of the documentary type. It adopts the institutional repository of the UFPB as a source of data collection and is anchored in the quantitative and qualitative approach for data analysis. In the results, 115 works from the UFPB institutional repository corresponding to the period from 2017 to 2021 were identified; the guiding teachers and the most incident themes that outside: encouraging reading, school library, user study, marketing in libraries, information and knowledge management, cultural action, bibliotherapy and memory preservation. It concludes from the findings the areas in which students show more interest in research, also suggesting actions that can encourage such students to write in other areas that are little explored. Título: Uma parceria possível entre ambientes informacionais da UFPB Autor(es): Barbosa, Fabricio Avelino Orientador: Carvalho, Ediane Toscano Galdino de Abstract: The Information and Communication Technologies are fundamental instruments in the process of conducting scientific research by allowing sharing products and services among different virtual spaces. This research aims to identify on the pages of the UFPB Central Library and the Information Technology Laboratory (LTi) the possibility of sharing their virtual informational resources. The methodological procedures were based on a bibliographic survey in several sources of information, especially in the virtual mode. The research environment was constituted of the electronic page of the Central Library, unit of the UFPB's Library System (SISTEMOTECA) and of the LTi Portal, digital interface of the Intellectual Technologies Laboratory Project. This investigation is configured as a case study of the descriptive research type, with a qualitative approach. The data collection was carried out in a totally virtual environment from the electronic pages of the researched institutions. As a result, it was found that the Central Library site does not include a link to LTi. While LTi makes available the Central Library site, although it is difficult to locate it. Given the facts identified, this research recommends the sharing and partnership between the visibility of the sites in both informational spaces. Editor: Universidade Federal da Paraíba Tipo: TCC

Título: Humberto Nóbrega: um homem entre livros Autor(es): Lacet, Rosane Coutinho Pereira Orientador: Oliveira, Bernardina Maria Juvenal Freire de Abstract: Rebuilding, historically and culturally, the life and works of Humberto Carneiro da Cunha Nóbrega, focuses on his personal library, highlighting the collection’s bibliographical and bibliology characteristics. From methodological and theoretical point of view, this paper bases on cultural history and social networks approach, where friends and relatives are inserted. Also, was tried to identify, from theoretical reference, the library as private/particular and it’s value at paraiban context. After that, it tries to identify and show the collection, emphasizing it’s rare documents and works from Paraiba and Brazil and how it was organized. The pre-establish interview format of data analysis, points to the collection, it’s creator and this activity peculiarity, walking through objects diversity there exposed, a sort of acquirements way. This paper also intends to presents the creator other faces as public man in his works as physician, director Professor at UFPB, furthermore his familiar activities as father, grandfather and uncle and finally, in social ambit, with friends and collaborators.
