Título: Contribuições da compreensão existencial da ansiedade em Rollo May para a prática clínica da abordagem centrada na pessoa Autor(es): Silva, Felipe Souza Orientador: Silva, Sandra Souza da Abstract: Anxiety is among the most prevalent psychological phenomena today, posing to humanist clinical practice the challenge of understanding it beyond a symptomatic and medicalizing logic. Rollo May's existential psychology, grounded in the philosophies of Kierkegaard, Heidegger, and Tillich, proposes that anxiety is an ontological condition inherent to freedom, finitude, and the search for human authenticity. The Person-Centered Approach (PCA), in turn, understands anxiety as a sign of incongruence between organismic experience and the self-structure, offering a clinical practice rooted in a genuine relationship and facilitating conditions for growth. The question arises: in what way can May's existential understanding of anxiety expand clinical practice within the PCA? This paper investigates the contributions of May's existential perspective to Rogerian practice, analyzing the ontological foundations of anxiety in May, the Rogerian conception of the phenomenon, and the integrative dialogue between these viewpoints. A theoretical-conceptual literature review is adopted through a systematic reading of primary works by both authors, complemented by articles indexed in SciELO, PePSIC, Google Scholar, and other specialized bibliographical sources, using keywords such as "existential anxiety," "Person-Centered Approach," and "existential and clinical psychology." It is concluded that integrating May's ontological-existential dimension enriches the clinical management of anxiety in the PCA without compromising the approach's ethical and relational foundations, thereby contributing to the critical and humanizing training of psychologists. Título: Precarização do trabalho e sofrimento psíquico na obra “Quarto de despejo : diário de uma favelada” uma análise a partir da psicodinâmica do trabalho Autor(es): Lopes, Eliana Pietra Travassos Orientador: Bezerra, Eduardo Breno Nascimento Abstract: This study aims to analyze the precarization of work and the psychological suffering experienced by Carolina Maria de Jesus in the book Child of the Dark: The Diary of Carolina Maria de Jesus (Quarto de Despejo: Diário de uma Favelada). Carolina's diary was selected because its accounts of precarious work, psychological suffering, and social humiliation illustrate how the structural forms of violence experienced by this working woman, together with the intersections of gender, race, and class, contribute to the dehumanization of individuals. The theoretical framework combines the perspective of the Psychodynamics of Work developed by Dejours (2010, 2012, 2006) with Antunes' (2018) reflections on the precarization of work. It also draws on the contributions of Sawaia (2001) and Gonçalves Filho (1998) regarding ethical-political suffering and social humiliation, as well as Crenshaw's (1989) theory of intersectionality. This is a qualitative, documentary, and analytical study. The analysis focused on excerpts from Carolina's diary describing waste picking activities, physical pain, social humiliation, and issues related to race, class, and gender. The findings indicate that waste picking is marked by complete informality, physical exhaustion, and a lack of social recognition. Within this context, structural and collective suffering emerges. Despite the hardships experienced by the author, writing becomes a form of resistance and an affirmation of identity. It is concluded that, despite legal advances such as the National Solid Waste Policy and the inclusion of waste pickers in the Brazilian Classification of Occupations, Carolina's accounts demonstrate that significant progress is still needed to ensure workers' rights and dignity. Título: Do cotidiano ao coletivo : histórias de vida de trabalhadoras domésticas e o papel do sindicato Autor(es): Canova, Alana Dandolini Orientador: Torres, Tatiana de Lucena Abstract: The study investigates life histories and how unionized domestic workers construct strategies to cope with and resist suffering in their work. Based on life narratives and semi-structured interviews, both the material and subjective dimensions of the activity were analyzed, considering gender, race, and class. The results indicate that domestic work, historically devalued and marked by unequal relationships, mobilizes affective bonds and experiences of recognition, while simultaneously reproducing structural inequalities. Union engagement emerges as a space for support, network building, and raising awareness of rights, fostering the re-signification of the activity and strengthening strategies of resistance. It was concluded that, even in contexts of precarization, collective organization contributes to shifting suffering from the individual to the social level, promoting recognition and empowerment of these workers as rights-bearing subjects. Título: Análise do filme reine sobre mim à luz dos conceitos de autotranscendência e amor na logoterapia Autor(es): Alves, Maria Clara Araújo Orientador: Ribeiro , Maria Gabriela Costa Abstract: This article analyzes the film Reign Over Me in light of the concepts of love and self-transcendence proposed by Viktor Frankl’s Logotherapy and Existential Analysis. Grounded in the Franklian perspective, the study is based on the understanding of the human being as a biopsychospiritual unity guided by the will to meaning, highlighting self-transcendence as the essence of human existence and love as one of the main paths to the realization of meaning. The method used was a narrative literature review combined with the analysis of scenes from the film, aiming to identify practical manifestations of theoretical concepts within the cinematic narrative. The analysis shows that the relationship between the characters Alan Johnson and Charlie Fineman expresses self-transcendence through self-giving to others, especially in Alan’s attitude of care, fidelity, and support in the face of his friend’s suffering. Love is also manifested in the relationship between the characters through the recognition of the other’s uniqueness and potential. It is concluded that the film constitutes a significant representation of the principles of Logotherapy, showing that interpersonal encounter and openness to others can favor the recovery of life’s meaning.
