Abstract: The present study has as its objective to lean over the book “Human acts” written by Han
Kang, with the intention of interrogating the writing as a resource that permits referring to a
collective trauma, from the own contours of literature to deal with, in a second time, what is
wide open by a traumatic event. The setting to which the book refers deals with a particularly
noteworthy episode during south-korean’s dictatorship at the end of the 20th century. Whose
effects, from the author’s perspective, are referenced through the characters and the signifiers
that bring her stories to life, based on real events, but which culminate in fiction. The work,
therefore, uses freudian and lacanian psychoanalytic theoretical foundations, based on the
notions of trauma and the real, to engage in dialogue with what is presented by Kang, against
the backdrop of Gwangju in 1980 – the “where” and “when” the aforementioned episode
takes place – which, one could say, is the protagonist of the entire story.

Abstract: Brazil has a high fertility rate among adolescent girls, with particularly high rates among girls
from lower-middle and lower classes. In social discourse, pregnant teenagers are often seen
as problem figures, considered irresponsible, and their subjectivities reduced to this negative
view. In this work, we consider adolescent motherhood as a subjective product-response to
the socio-political challenges experienced by these girls and investigate the interconnections
of the following factors: adolescence as part of the psychic formation process of the subject,
motherhood as a resolution of femininity, and the subjective effects of socio-political
suffering. Therefore, our objective was to understand the subjective impacts of adolescent
pregnancy, considering the irruption of the reality of puberty and the subjective silencing
promoted by some social and political contexts. Based on the stories of four teenage girls
portrayed in Sandra Werneck's documentary "Meninas" (Girls), we employ the methodology
of Narrative Memoirs as a tool to promote a writing of self that challenges the silencing
inherent in discursive helplessness stemming from the discourse of a hegemonic Other. We
discuss how the experience of motherhood dialogues with the irruption of a reality upon
entering puberty, added to the symbolic helplessness experienced by the girls, so that each
narrative unveils a singular writing of self, and how this can correspond to something of the
singularity of the feminine non-all. Finally, we highlight how the invitation to narrate their
own stories offers the girls a path of resistance against the exclusionary Other, as an invention
based on the (re)taking of a place in discourse.

Abstract: This study aimed to analyze, through an integrative literature review, how Brazilian scientific
production has described the carceral trajectories of women who experienced
socio-educational measures during adolescence, as well as the factors associated with the
continuity of these trajectories into the female prison system. Between 2015 and 2025, 15
studies were identified in the national literature, including theses, dissertations, and scientific
articles, reporting on 35 women. The search was conducted in the SciELO, LILACS, Pepsic,
Virtual Health Library (BVS/Bireme), and Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and
Dissertations (BDTD) databases. Data were analyzed using Thematic Analysis, following the
approach proposed by Braun and Clarke (2006), from which three main themes were
identified: cycles of criminalization in punitive trajectories; psychosocial aspects of contexts
of violence and vulnerability; and gender-based violence as a structuring axis of carceral
trajectories. The results indicate that these women’s trajectories are marked by processes of
criminalization beginning in childhood and adolescence, shaped by experiences of violence,
institutionalization, socioeconomic precariousness, and social neglect. Cycles of
criminalization leading to deprivation of liberty were also identified, associated with the
absence of social protection policies. Furthermore, forms of gender-based violence, such as
domestic, sexual, and institutional violence, as well as control practices within prisons, were
evidenced. This study contributes to expanding the understanding of continuities between the
socio-educational system and the prison system, demonstrating how punitive systems tend to
reproduce and intensify social inequalities and gender-based violence. In this sense, it
reinforces the need for the development of public policies guided by the guarantee of rights
and by alternatives to incarceration.

Abstract: This study addresses the impact of media representation on the LGBTQIAP+ community's
mental health, specifically focusing on the influence of positive and negative media. The
analysis shows that positive media consumption is correlated to less psychological distress
(anxiety, depression, and stress), in addition to promoting higher life satisfaction. This
beneficial effect demonstrates the relevance of positive and inclusive media representation,
highlighting their role in supporting the psychological well-being of the LGBTQIAP+ community. On the other hand, negative media exposure was only indirectly associated with
life satisfaction, mediated by an increase in depressive symptoms, and psychological stress.
These findings highlight the relevance of public policies and media practices that prioritize
inclusion and positivity in the representation of sexual and gender minorities, aiming to
reduce the negative effects of negative media and to create a more welcoming and positive
environment for the mental health and well-being of the LGBTQIAP+ community.
