Abstract: This course completion work is developed as an autoethnographic research, which tells the story of a travesti and the challenges she faced since her childhood, following her entry into university and the difficulties in completing her degree. When talking about her story, Lis Maria introduces us to her biological family and the family she built as a community in the ballroom culture of Paraíba in the city of João Pessoa. In letters, Lis talks about gender, dance, performance and travestilidade, highlighting ballroom culture, dance and voguing as guiding threads of this research.

Abstract: This work is based on the author's accumulation of experiences within Hip-Hop culture, pointing out possibilities for teaching “Hip-Hop Dance” in connection with the traditions of Afro-diasporic movement in a state of improvisation. It defends the “Balanço” (Bounce) as a driving idea to think about the fundamentals that structure this dance, with the aim of rescuing and giving new meaning to cultural manifestations of Street dances within the city of João Pessoa, Paraíba. As a pedagogical, ethical and aesthetic proposal, it formulates a practical theoretical path based on terminologies that are already present in the oral language of the precursors of this movement.

Abstract: The aim of this Final Paper is to explore storytelling as a pedagogical strategy applied to the teaching of dance in Early Childhood Education, primarily aimed at children aged 4 to 5 years. This approach can be utilized by all teachers, not just those with a degree in Dance. Drawing from my personal experience as a dancer and teacher since the age of 16, combined with the knowledge I acquired in my Dance Education degree, I thought of a teaching strategy that merges playfulness and knowledge, inspired by my experiences in dance as both a student and a teacher. Based on qualitative research and a literature review, this study proposes the creation of a theoretical-practical guide entitled “Danced Stories,” which includes teaching guidelines for dance educators and pedagogues. The focus is on helping educators create a healthy, light,
and fun learning environment for dance classes, using storytelling as a resource to stimulate child development. The research reinforces the importance of pedagogical practices that respect children's individuality and imagination, ensuring the healthy and creative development of their physical, psychological, and emotional abilities.
