Abstract: This research aims to investigate which affections are mobilized in the comments of internet users on two posts by the fat influencer Thaís Carla on Instagram: the first, published before her bariatric surgery, and the second, posted after the procedure. The comparative analysis of these two moments makes it possible to understand which affections are mobilized by a fat body in the digital environment. The hypothesis is that the comments on Thaís Carla’s posts mobilize contradictory affections, at times reinforcing body representativeness on the internet, at other times feeding the persistence of stigmas related to dissident bodies. This highlights that the platform profits both from resistance and from controversy, while the fat body is converted into a product that serves a logic of consumption and surveillance. The approach was exploratory, descriptive, and qualitative. The specific objectives were: to create similarity graphs based on the comments made by internet users on two posts by Thaís Carla; to analyze the color clusters present in the graphs; to categorize the comments according to Content Analysis (Bardin, 2016), relating these categories to Spinozian affections; and, finally, to conduct a comparative analysis of the affections mobilized. The results showed that, in the first post, insults and derogatory comparisons prevailed, mobilizing sad affects such as hatred, fear, and indignation; in the second post, compliments increased, but with the expectation of weight loss, revealing how discourses are permeated by the logic of aesthetic entrepreneurship. However, it was demonstrated that the exposure of dissident bodies is capable of generating communities of collective support. Thus, compliments and insults coexist and can both be captured as commodities by the algorithmic logic, which instrumentalizes both admiration and repulsion to maintain engagement. In this way, the fat body can be simultaneously celebrated and attacked, but never escapes surveillance or judgment.

Abstract: Modding, the practice in which fans create and modify game content, has been established
since the 1990s as an essential part of video game culture. Companies have begun to
incorporate these productions as engagement strategies, keeping their titles active and
attracting new audiences. One of the most emblematic cases is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim,
known for its large community of modders. In 2023, the developer Bethesda launched
Creations, a platform integrated into the game that allows the sale of mods through a royalty
system, transforming them into microtransactions. This dissertation investigates how the sale
of mods in Skyrim interferes with the relationship between fans and the company. It is
hypothesized that the monetization of mods constitutes a market strategy that converts
collaborative and voluntary practices into corporate profit, contradicting the values of the
community. 390 user comments from Steam, published in the first month of the Creations
launch, were analyzed using the thematic analysis proposed by Braun and Clarke (2006). The
study also contextualizes the advancement of microtransactions in the industry, discusses the
relationship between participatory culture and monetization, and interprets the community's
reactions to Bethesda's new policy. The analysis identified four main themes: (1) impact on
gameplay and experience; (2) rejection of paid mods and perception of exploitation; (3)
challenges to Bethesda's leadership and its relationship with fans; and (4) resistance and
collective memory. The results show that, although players maintain an emotional connection
with the game, rejection of the monetization of mods predominates, confirming the hypothesis
of this work.

Abstract: Develops a correlation based on studies that address the problems related to Migration,
Gender, Informational Practices, Misinformation and Informational Resilience in the context
of digital social networks. Part of a investigation project that seeks to understand how social
media enables the construction of informational skills necessary to transmute the state of
informational uncertainty experienced by immigrant women who face relevant personal and
health factors in the context of COVID-19. It stems from a qualitative research based on the
thematic analysis of digital informational practices organized by Brazilian immigrant women
in Portugal who, when facing the pandemic context of 2020, organized a solidarity network
based on the collective “Plataforma Geni”. An analysis focuses on the reports of the trajectory
of 10 women, who were interviewed under the perspective of the “informational resilience in
virtual social networks”, proposed by Brasileiro (2017, 2019, 2020). As results, it finds that
the state of informational uncertainty experienced in the hypotheses of rupture with normality,
arising from covid 19. Together with the perceived misinformations in the digital
environment, displaces women to use their own digital networks in the search for solutions in

of new informational skills and reposition. These women towards from the context of risk and

Abstract: This research comes from the view of the Trilogy of Life’s three films and Saló, from the
italian director Pier Paolo Pasolini. The films were analyzed from the aesthetic choices to
represent the eroticism and human’s sexual impulses. The basic bibliography was composed
of works of the director himself, other works that approach issues we consider relevant to
comprehend his filmography, such as obscenity, eroticism, pornography and consumer
society. Finally, the contribution of literature about cinema and its studies were used to do the
final analyses. It is understood that transforming the sex into a main character was the way
Pasolini found to decipher the human being and, concurrently, challenge it to transgression.
The sexuality’s representation mirrors the nostalgia of a archaic youth, and then, Pasolini’s
degrading vision about the modern youth. Violence and sex without any of the entertainment
cinema more common subterfuge used to frame them in a false way.
