Título: Compresões das produções sobre o autismo no Curso de Educação Física da UFPB e UEPB
Autor(es): Lopes, Jéssica Ellen dos Santos

Abstract: The study aimed to understand academic productions related to autism in the context of Physical
Education courses at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) and UEPB. The methodological
reference used consisted of qualitative, descriptive research. For the research we considered
access to the databases of the aforementioned institutions and used the descriptors "Autism",
"Physical Education and Autism" and "Psychomotor Education”. It should be noted that the
choice of these two institutions came from an interest in researching the productions of Course
Completion Works (TCCs) from public universities in the context of Paraíba over the last 10
years, with the aim of mapping productions in relation to the main concepts, difficulties faced,
availability of incentives, improvement courses in the area, as well as understanding if there has
been an increase in productions in recent years, considering an increase in the number of
diagnoses and that as a result this audience will be/is in our classrooms. To analyze the texts we
used Bardin's content analysis approach (year), the difficulty of access to the materials in their
databases and data, which also involved contacting the aforementioned institutions by e- mail.
We inform you that after several readings of the texts and structuring the analysis considering
its three stages, we identified by grouping 8 categories that together helped us to understand the
production scenarios, they are: “understandings of autism, characteristics, origins and
prevalence”, “treatment/intention and the importance of a multidisciplinary team and early
intervention”, “adapted physical education and inclusive education in autism”, “ public policies
and the rights of the ASD person”, “the training of physical education professionals and their
difficulties in working with autistic people”, “the different action/intervention strategies of
physical education with the autistic public”, “the difficulties for the work with people with ASD
in the context of physical education” and “the role of the media, in training, dissemination and
acceptance”. The studies reviewed revealed a variety of concepts and understandings about
autism, reflecting the complexity of this autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and the need for a
multidisciplinary approach to its understanding and intervention. The TCCs analyzed also
presented different pedagogical propositions, including adapted teaching strategies, inclusion
programs and specific psychomotor activities for children with autism. However, the difficulties
faced by Physical Education professionals when working with children with autism emerged as
a recurring theme. These difficulties ranged from the lack of adequate training to the need to
constantly adapt physical activities to meet the individual needs of children with ASD. We note
that there are still few productions on autism and Physical Education in the researched
universities, considering that there were only 9 texts in the last 10
years and we draw attention to the need for the TCC databases to be updated since 5 of the 9
texts were obtained by email. We also highlight the lack of resources and the scarcity of
improvement courses in the area were also highlighted as significant obstacles. The research
highlighted the importance of reflecting on how Physical Education can contribute to the
inclusion and development of children with autism. Furthermore, he highlighted the need for
investments in training and qualification of professionals in the area, as well as access to
incentives and specific improvement courses related to autism. This, in turn, will contribute to
the creation of more inclusive and welcoming environments, where all children, regardless of
their differences, can enjoy the benefits of Physical Education in a full and meaningful way.

Abstract: The present study aims to present how the handling of athletics knowledge developed at the
Antônio Santos Coelho Neto Municipal School, in João Pessoa – PB, and the participation of
this school in school competitions considering the work developed in conjunction with the
Pedagogical Residency Program under the reference of Historical-Critical Pedagogy and the
Critical-Overcoming Approach. The research is characterized as a case study, of descriptive and
documentary typology, adopts a qualitative cross-sectional observation and will use content
analysis as a data analysis technique. It describes and presents the handling of athletics teaching
knowledge developed with a 7th-grade class during a two-month period, as well as the
involvement of other students from middle school in school competitions. The study sample
will include the Physical Education preceptor teacher. A semi-structured interview will be used
as a research instrument for the preceptor teacher and participant in the Pedagogical Residency
Program. Thus, this research aims to contribute to the teaching of athletics in school physical
education, by highlighting the work developed in conjunction with the Pedagogical Residency
Program, related to Historical-Critical Pedagogy and the Critical-Overcoming Approach, and
how much the work developed enhanced the school's participation in school competitions. We
consider that athletics has ceased to be just a sports practice to become a pedagogical tool
capable of promoting the comprehensive development of students, and stimulating their
formation in its entirety, towards omnilaterality.

Abstract: School Physical Education plays a crucial role in the comprehensive training of
students, offering not only physical activities, but also opportunities to explore and
understand body culture, in addition to promoting self-knowledge. However, it faces
significant challenges, especially related to limited infrastructure and resources in
schools, which can compromise the effectiveness of classes and the variety of content
offered. Given this scenario, this study focuses on Beach Tennis as an innovative
alternative to enrich the School Physical Education curriculum. The main objective is
to investigate and analyze strategies for the construction of adapted materials that
facilitate the teaching and learning of this sport in schools. Using a qualitative and
experimental approach, the research will focus on students in the 5th year of
Elementary School I at the Philadelphia Educational Center. We will seek to
understand their perceptions regarding the construction of their own materials and toys
during Physical Education classes. The data collection method will involve focus
groups, facilitated by a script of structured questions, allowing for an in-depth analysis
of participants' experiences and opinions. Data analysis will be conducted using the
content analysis technique, allowing the identification of emerging patterns and
themes. It is expected that the results of this research will contribute not only to the
development of practical and effective strategies for teaching Beach Tennis, but also
to a broader reflection on the importance of School Physical Education and the need
for investment in infrastructure and adequate resources for its full realiz

Abstract: This research aims to study and identify the formation of the first Street Workout and
Calisthenics Freestyle teams in northeastern Brazil. competitive modality that emerged in
New York from calisthenics training, a term that was attributed by the Phokion gymnast
Heinrich Clias, writer of several books and articles on the practice, which has already been
inserted in society since Greco-Roman antiquity. Nowadays it is a sport with a significant
amount of repetition, isometric and acrobatic exercises. The name Street Workout can be
loosely translated as outdoor exercise. The study was carried out with 117 subjects online
through a questionnaire on the five topics of the methodological procedures. The modality
of this study covers both repetition movements, isometric exercises and acrobatics, where
the athlete decides the entire format of his presentation, and the judges will decide the
winner based on the difficulties of each exercise performed, the connection between the
