Abstract: Introduction: Motor Imagery (MI) is defined as a dynamic state that occurs when the execution of a specific motor action is activated within a working memory, coordinated by the central motor control, without any response. This strategy has been widely discussed among clinicians and researchers as an important ally to conventional treatment for motor rehabilitation in different areas of the body. For the orofacial region, orofacial myofunctional therapy (OMT) stands out as an important therapeutic modality. It is known that individuals affected by facial trauma may have motor and functional limitations, and therefore benefit from OMT. In this sense, to optimize therapeutic results, this research aims to verify whether motor imagery (MI) associated with orofacial myofunctional therapy (OMT) contributes to the rehabilitation of mandibular movements and mastication in patients with facial trauma. Methodology: This is a pilot study of a randomized clinical trial, composed of individuals who were affected by facial trauma and referred for speech therapy rehabilitation. The sample consisted of four patients with maxillomandibular fractures, randomized and divided into two groups, G1 (experimental) and G2 (control). Initially, both groups were evaluated with the OMES protocol. Next, the G1 group received OMT associated with MI, but beforehand, the participants answered the motor imagination questionnaire (MIQ-R) and the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE). G2 received only BMT. The treatments were carried out in four sessions. Then, the measurement of mandibular movements was performed before and after the OMT. After the proposed sessions, the OMES protocol was applied again, for reassessment and collection of the results obtained with the therapeutic program. Results: From the comparative observations between the groups, the evaluation and reassessment carried out, it was possible to verify that G1 (experimental) presented more satisfactory results in most aspects involving orofacial myofunctional conditions, with little difference in the item posture and position. It was verified that in G1 the score value of the measures of mouth opening, right and left laterality and protrusion increased considerably and with good results showing evolution at each session, while the control group increased their values more slowly. Conclusion: According to the methodology adopted, the motor&#xD;
imagery associated with OMT showed better results in mastication, especially in the laterality of the food and in the bilateral and alternating pattern, as well as in the mandibular movements of opening, laterality D and L and protrusive in relation to the group that just received the BMT. However, the "n" is insufficient to effectively affirm its contribution when compared with the application of OMT alone.

    <description>Título: Avaliação do impacto de uma ação educativa na adesão familiar ao programa de triagem auditiva neonatal ( TAN) de um hospital universitário

Abstract: Purpose: To evaluate the impact of an educational action on children's hearing health on family adherence to the neonatal hearing screening program carried out at a university hospital. Methods: This was an evaluative and experimental study carried out from August to October 2022 with mothers attended at the maternity ward of a university hospital, whose newborns failed the neonatal hearing screening and were referred for retesting. 24 mothers divided into two groups participated in the collection: an experimental group consisting of 12 mothers who during the collection period participated in an educational educational action by the research team and a control group consisting of 12 mothers who did not participate in the action, receiving only guidance from service routine. Data collection occurred by monitoring the rates of return of babies for the retest. Results: The comparison index to the retest for the CG was 66.6% as opposed to 75% for the EG. The schooling variable did not influence the comparison index of participants in both groups. When analyzing the non-comparison rate and the controlled variables in both groups, it was observed that mothers who did not return for the CG retest reside in the metropolitan region (40%), have informal occupation (40%) and income less than 1 minimum wage (36.6%). In the EG, the mothers who did not return are also those who have informal employment (27.2%) and income less than 1 minimum wage (30%). Conclusion: It is not possible to state that the proposed educational action influenced the participants' adherence to the retest stage, although the comparison index found in both groups was considered directed when compared to other studies. With regard to the comparison indices at the retest stage, there was also no influence on where the mothers live. Both groups adopted respected comparison indexes. The low non-comparison rate observed in both groups seems to be associated with mothers' occupation and personal income. The “failure” results presented by the babies can be considered as a determining factor for good family adherence to the retest stage, corroborating evidence presented in the literature.

Abstract: INTRODUCTION: Individuals with tinnitus may be affected in important individual aspects such as social and cognitive well-beijng. Therefore, such factors can be aggravated by the COVID-19 Pandemic therefore, it was necessary to search for digital resources that would allow the treatment of these patients. OBJECTIVE: To develop an online tinnitus management program (POGZUM). METHOD: The methodological approach used will be Design Thinking (DT). Such a tool is used for innovation and is motivated by problem solving. RESULTS: The Tinnitus Management Online Program was developed, with the main target audience being patients complaining of tinnitus who have had the symptom for at least 6 (six) months, aged at least 18 years. Being idealized to be carried out in the period of 8 weeks with 1 (one) weekly meeting. CONCLUSION: Based on this work, it was possible to contribute to the techniques used in audiology and teleaudiology, as well as to support new approaches for the treatment and self-management of tinnitus.

    <description>Título: Medidas espectrais/cepstrais em mulheres com disfonia comportamental
Autor(es): Paiva, Gabriela Marques
Abstract: Objective: To investigate whether there are differences in cepstral and spectral acoustic measures between women with behavioral dysphonia with and without laryngeal injury, as well as to verify whether there is a correlation between such measures and the auditory-perceptual judgment of vocal quality. Method: 78 women with behavioral dysphonia without laryngeal lesion (DCSL) and 68 with behavioral dysphonia with laryngeal lesion (vocal nodules) (DCCL) participated. The measures CPP (cepstral peak prominence), CPPS (cepstral peak prominence smoothed), spectral decline and H1-H2 (difference between the amplitude of the first and second harmonics) were extracted, as well as the auditory-perceptual judgment (JPA) of the degree general vocal deviation (GG), roughness (GR), breathiness (GS) and tension (GT) degrees. Results: Women with DCCL had higher values of H1-H2, as well as lower values in CPP and CPPS compared to women with DCSL. The most deviant voices had lower CPP and CPPS values. The breathy voices had lower values of CPP and CPPS, as well as a higher value of H1-H2 in relation to rough voices. There was a weak negative correlation between the CPP and the GR, a moderate negative correlation with the GG and a strong negative correlation with the GS. The CPPS showed a moderate negative correlation with the GG, GR and GS. The H1-H2 measure showed a weak positive correlation with the GS. There was a weak positive correlation between spectral decline and GT. Conclusion: The acoustic measures H1-H2, CPP and CPPS show differences between women with DCSL and DCCL. Furthermore, there is a correlation between the cepstral and spectral measurements and the different JPA parameters.
