Abstract: The occupations performed in a child's life are likely to be affected when he is subjected to cancer treatment. Taking as a starting point the child's own perception of their day-to-day life, prompting the reflection of what activities have the most meaning for them in life, the present study aims to understand the perceptions of children with cancer about their daily lives during treatment. This is an exploratory and descriptive study, with a qualitative approach to the data, in which twelve children aged seven to eleven participated in the support center for children with cancer in Paraíba. As a tool for obtaining data, a profile characterization form for the participants and a semi-structured interview script were used, in addition to the playful material used to form a bond between children and the researcher and to facilitate the child's participation in the research. The material was collected at the premises of the home of the child with cancer in Paraíba and the data obtained were analyzed using the content analysis technique based on the principles of Laurence Bardin. As a result, it was possible to understand that children undergoing cancer treatment prioritize activities aimed at health and life maintenance in their daily lives; describe feelings of deprivation related to freedom and unpretentious childhood activities; and externalize the notion of distancing, even if temporary, from the routine experienced in their localities. The research made it possible to contribute to the analysis of the daily situation of children with cancer in the state of Paraíba, in addition, it may direct future interventions of Occupational Therapy in pediatric oncology, enhancing the practices developed by this professional with the multidisciplinary team benefiting the assisted population. It is expected to foster the interest of academics in Occupational Therapy in complementary research in the area.

Abstract: The theme of experiencing motherhood and academic life has gained prominence in academic production,  showing  disadvantages  for  women  when  they  experience  motherhood  during graduation,  as  it  is  still  on  the  female  gender  that,  in  our  culture,  the  responsibilities  of parental care fall. Given this panorama, the present research aimed to analyze the challenges and the possibilities of reconciling motherhood with the academic life of the mothers students of the Occupational Therapy course at Campus I of the Federal University of Paraíba -UFPB, as well as knowing their trajectories at the intersection of maternity experiences and academic demands and to identify the factors that influence university permanence. The research has a qualitative character with an exploratory descriptive characteristic. Data collection took place through  semi-structured  interviews.  Interviews  were  carried  out  with  five  young  universitystudents,  students  of  the  Occupational  Therapy  course  at  UFPB,  aged  between  19  and  29 years old, who experience motherhood and who have children aged 3 months to 6  years old. The  data  were  analyzed  using  Bardin's  thematic  content  analysis  technique.  From the  data analysis, three thematic  categories were identified:  1. “Today  I am  a university mother” -Trajectories  of  student  mothers  at  the  intersection  of  maternity  experiences  and  academic demands;  2. “I feel  that  I am  neither a good mother nor a good student” -Difficulties  in reconciling academic life with motherhood and 3. “If it weren't for my support  network,  I wouldn't be able to” -Possibilities  and  university  permanence.  The  results  obtained  bring  a new  perspective  on  the  experience  of  martenity  inthe  academic  context,  demonstrating  that the  search  for  strategies  for  university  permanence  is  necessary,  since  the  university  is  still apathetically positioned against the adversities faced by this public. We conclude that there is a need to discuss about this reality of being a mother and student in the academic context, to excite  debates  and  reflection  on  the  theme,  as  well  as  the  concern  with  attempts  to  facilitate this experience based on public and institutional actions and policies.

Abstract: La poblaciónvenezolana  se  ve obligada a abandonar su país,  ya que  no pueden  la garantía a sus familiares el acceso a la atención médica y alimentos más básicos de manera adecuada, ya que necesitan refugio, apoyo y asistencia humanitaria en los países a los que están destinados. Las  mujeres  en  esta  condición  se  encuentran  entre  las  más  afectadas,  ya  que  sufren  diversos tipos  de  discriminación.Tanto  a  nivel  nacional  como  internacional,  la  protección  de  los derechos  humanos  ha  demostrado  ser  insuficiente  para  los  refugiados,  especialmente  para aquellos  que  están  estigmatizados  por  dos  factores:  ser  mujer  y  refugiada.  Por  lo  tanto,  esta investigación  buscó  comprender  cómo  se  configuran  las  redes  sociales  de  las  mujeres refugiadas de Venezuela, a través de un estudio cualitativo, que utilizó como recopilación de datos la entrevista semiestructurada basada en  la  historia oral  y  la vida de cinco  mujeres que llegaron a Paraíba a través del programa de interiorización propuesto por el Gobierno Federal. Los  resultados  permitieron  percibir  los  impactos  que  la  situación  de  los  refugiados  y  la fragilidad  en  las  relaciones  causaron  en  este  grupo  de  población  a  través  de  un  recorte  de género.Al identificar la composición de las redes sociales, fue posible percibir que, para este grupo,  su  configuración  se  debilita  porque  los  procesos  de  vulnerabilidad,  violencia  y fragilidad  de  los  vínculos  impactan  directamente  en  sus  relaciones  interpersonales,  con  el espacio y el trabajo.

Abstract: his  work  is  a  field  study,  exploratory  and  descriptive,  with  a  transversal temporal cut, proposing to know what education professionals in public schools in the city of João  Pessoa-PB  understand  about  Occupational  Therapy  in  the  school  context.  Participated professionals  from  two  public  institutions  of  regular  education  who  performed  different functions at schools.Wasapplied a structured questionnaire containing information about the occupational therapist's performance in the school environment, with a quantitative analysis of the  material  collected.  The  results  indicated  that  the  majority  of  participants don’t knowtheOccupational Therapy in general, and not just its performance within schools. In addition, these professionals  highlighted  this  lack  of  knowledge as  a  possible  factor  for  the low  insertion  of occupational therapists in these environments. These results thus indicate the need for greater dissemination of this profession within schools, possibly contributing to a greater presence of these professionals in the school context.
