The research uses the trajectory of Miguel Oliveira, a self-styled teenage prophet who gained national notoriety through social media, as a guiding thread and case study. It analyzes how the understanding of the prophet — as a divine intermediary focused on ethics, Law, and the denunciation of injustice — contrasts radically with modern prophetic performance, characterized by pragmatism, spectacularization, intensive use of digital technologies, and strong financial appeal. Through a bibliographic review, grounded in authors such as F.E. Peters, Leonildo Silveira Campos, Silas Guerriero, and Élcio Bernardino Correia, and discursive analysis of media material, it is demonstrated that Miguel Oliveira's prophetism exemplifies a resignification where theological legitimation gives way to algorithmic validation. The resulting conflict between traditional institutions, child protection agencies, and the digital faith market exposes the tensions of a Brazil where the sacred intertwines with entertainment and consumption logic. Our analyses are supported by three authors who address the scientificmystical-esoteric universe known as Kabbalah. To this end, we sought to expose the central essence of the thought of Scholem, Dion Fortune, and Halevi. In this sense, we will seek to present the interpretation of three conceptual symbols found in the most esoteric core of Kabbalistic thought: that which is hidden, the sephiroth, and the three veils of existence. For this journey, our methodological procedure is quantitative, as it is through it that we will establish both a hermeneutical path and an analytical reading regarding how knowledge can be born from nothing; in counterpoint to scientific knowledge. This work is divided into three chapters: the first will be responsible for presenting the explanations of the philosopher, historian, and Religious Studies Scholar Gershom Scholem on Kabbalistic science. The second chapter will present the Kabbalistic mystic, as well as the meaning of the sephiroth contained in the work The Mystical Qabalah. Our third and final chapter addresses the work The Tree of Life (Kabbalah), with an emphasis on the symbol of the three veils of negative existence. The research sought to understand how the artist appropriates elements of Christianity to produce a critique of religious structures. The methodology adopted is qualitative and interdisciplinary, based on the hermeneutics of the work and in dialogue with theoretical frameworks from religious and communication studies. It is possible to observe that, in antiquity, gestures and rhythmic procedures had in their hands one of their most expressive and active instruments. Whether in Western religious segments, such as Christianity, Kardecism or even in African-based cults, and extending to Eastern religions, such as the Messianic Church, the phenomenon of the laying on of hands is quite recurrent and respected. Starting from the great theme that is the laying on of hands, this research aims to carry out a brief study on how this procedure occurs in the practices of Reiki, Johrei and Mahikari. To achieve our goal, we conducted consultations in several studies carried out in the area, and we drew up discussions to enrich our approach. Authors such as Eliade (1991), De ’Carli (2003), Darnton (2007), Miwa (2012) and Teixeira (2009) served as the basis for the realization of the theoretical framework constructed here. It was found that the practices discussed here use the laying on of hands not only as a means of treatment for a momentary illness, but as a way of providing their practitioners with a transformative experience, with the ability to establish their bodily health. and to illuminate their spiritual paths, leading them to happiness.
