In this perspective, the objective of the present study consisted in proposing an institutional innovation in the internationalization policy of the Federal University of Paraiba to make it more efficient, mapping the process and the internationalization actions existing in the Institution. Identifying the sources of funding applied to the university's internationalization activities, as well as analyzing the implementation of the UFPB's internationalization policy based on Resolution No. 06/2018 and the current Institutional Development Plan. To this end, an exploratory research was carried out, which consisted of collecting information that sought to understand the entire process of internationalization of the institution. In this sense, the methodology follows the principles of content analysis. As for the analysis of the data obtained, in addition to the theoretical framework, a search was carried out for comparative purposes in internationalization processes and policies of other Federal Universities. From the results, it was observed that the status of the internationalization of the UFPB is still in development and it needs to innovate the structure of its internal policy in specific aspects to achieve better indicators of institutional results. In addition, it was possible to perceive that there is a movement in internationalization actions, however, in an isolated and little publicized way at the university. This is because the opportunities for internationalization, together with strategic imperatives such as inclusion, the improvement of the qualification of agents, the improvement of a foreign language, the increase in the scientific and sociocultural impact of research, among others, offer means to improve these academic and professional trainings, since they constitute, so to speak, a basic and necessary condition to achieve greater excellence in this field of learning. In this context, the present dissertation aims to analyze the main guidelines and internationalization actions of the Graduate Program in Religious Sciences of the Education Center of the Federal University of Paraíba, with a view to meeting the policy of evaluation of Graduate Studies in force in Brazil. That said, Methodologically, the study is of an applied and descriptive nature to analyze the data collected from primary and secondary sources, including institutional documents from UFPB and CAPES, such as Resolution No. 06/2018 CONSUNI and Area Document 44, among others. In addition, the theoreticalconceptual framework is based on the internationalization of higher education as a process of integration of an international/intercultural or global dimension in the purpose and functions of institutions, highlighting its relevance for academic excellence and the fundamental role of international relations advisories. Therefore, as a result of our research, a manual of good practices of internationalization was elaborated that creates and defines the Advisory for International Affairs and its attributions, thus adding solutions and autonomy — according to the basic pillars — to the Graduate Program in Religious Sciences of the UFPB Education Center. Thus, we conclude that internationalization should not be understood only as an evaluative requirement or a marker of institutional prestige, but as an ethical and political commitment to the democratization of knowledge, cultural diversity and scientific production focused on contemporary challenges.; La necessità di internazionalizzazione nel campo degli studi universitari è cresciuta notevolmente nelle valutazioni CAPES. With the increasing adoption of remote work driven by the COVID-19 pandemic, it became necessary to understand these employees' perceptions of this work modality and its impacts on their satisfaction, productivity, and well-being. The central questions of this research are: what are the motivations and benefits faced by UFPB AGPs when adopting teleworking, and how does this practice influence their job satisfaction? This question seeks to contribute to the understanding of how public policies and institutions can implement teleworking efficiently, promoting improvements in human resource management. The study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach, with a descriptive approach. The target population consisted of the AGPs (General Managers) affiliated with UFPB Campus I, totaling approximately 72 technicians, of whom 35 responded effectively to the questions. Data collection methods included questionnaires administered electronically via email, statistical analysis using Google Forms, and content analysis using Bardin's (2001) technique to understand the perceptions and experiences of these staff. The data indicate that telework, when well implemented, boosts productivity and improves the work environment. Its effectiveness depends on management strategies, efficient communication, and adequate infrastructure. The research concludes that telework represents a favorable configuration for UFPB's AGPs, provided it is supported by consistent institutional policies that consider the specificities of each employee and sector. Furthermore, it reinforces the need for continuous improvement of people management practices, including training and technological resources to ensure the success of this modality. Thus, the research provides support for the development of public policies and strategies for implementing telework in federal higher education institutions, contributing to the construction of a more efficient, sustainable environment focused on employee well-being. In Brazil, the institutionalization of this policy, through the approval of Constitutional Amendment 95/2016, was marked by a strong discourse of spending restraint, which directly impacted the state's ability to finance social policies, significantly affecting the field of public education. Among the most affected sectors, higher education stands out, whose progressive reduction of resources jeopardizes the sustainability of institutions. Although PEC 95/2016 does not directly apply to states and municipalities, this scenario has been reproduced at other federal levels, especially after the ministerial meeting that took place on June 20, 2016, in the National Treasury Ministry's Council room, where the renegotiation of state debts was conditioned on austerity commitments from governors. In this context, the present study aims to analyze the impacts of fiscal austerity policy on the financing of the State University of Paraiba (UEPB), within the time frame from 2016 to 2024, based on the official budgetary data from the institution and the State of Paraiba. The results demonstrate that, although the Gross Ordinary Revenue of the State of Paraiba increased by 46.38% during the period, the transfers to UEPB experienced a contraction of 11.06%. In values adjusted by the IPCA, UEPB's budget fell from R$ 466.48 million in 2016 to R$ 414.88 million in 2024. The analysis by group of expense nature revealed that more than 80% of UEPB's budget is committed to personnel, indicating budget rigidity and little room for institutional growth. Operating expenses remained stable (from R$ 59.7 million in 2016 to R$ 58.3 million in 2024), signaling stagnation. On the other hand, investments (capital expenses) fluctuated significantly, ranging from R$ 12.8 million in 2016 to only R$ 419.5 thousand in 2024, indicating structural fragility and chronic underfunding of the university. The theoretical contribution of this study was based on the works of Rossi et al. (2019), Cardoso (2022), Ferraz and Gouveia (2023), Gomes and Clark (2021), Maclntyre (2001). From a methodological standpoint, this is an applied research with a deductive approach and exploratory-descriptive objective. The technical procedures adopted combined bibliographic and documentary study with analysis of data obtained from the Transparency Portal of UEPB, the Integrated Financial Administration System (SIAFI), and the relevant legislation on the matter. As a technical and technological product, a technical report was prepared, which presents both a diagnosis of the budgetary weaknesses of UEPB and a proposal for intervention aimed at mitigating the effects of the underfunding of the institution.
