Abstract: The high energy demand of the cement industry makes the adoption of sustainable&#xD;
alternatives essential for reducing the consumption of fossil fuels, among which the coprocessing of waste in clinker kilns stands out. However, the variability in the chemical&#xD;
and thermal characteristics of the waste materials poses significant challenges to defining&#xD;
an adequate mixture composition, which may compromise process stability and product&#xD;
quality. In this context, this work develops and applies mathematical programming models&#xD;
to optimize the composition of waste mixtures in the co-processing sector of a cement plant,&#xD;
considering operational, chemical, and material availability constraints. The approach&#xD;
is based on a case study involving process mapping and analysis, formulation of the&#xD;
optimization model, computational implementation in a spreadsheet environment, and&#xD;
monitoring of results through Statistical Process Control tools. The results indicate a&#xD;
reduction in the variability of the main mixture characteristics, with improved compliance&#xD;
with the established specification limits, particularly for moisture content and lower heating&#xD;
value. Control charts and process capability analyses demonstrate increased stability,&#xD;
predictability, and control of the process after the implementation of the proposed solution,&#xD;
highlighting the potential of integrating mathematical modeling and statistical tools to&#xD;
support decision-making in complex industrial environments.

      <title>Análise comparativa do consumo no serviço de open bar em três tipos de eventos distintos</title>

Abstract: This study aims to analyse and compare consumption in open bar services across three distinct&#xD;
types of events—graduation parties, weddings, and birthdays—seeking to understand how&#xD;
these variations impact costs and operational planning. To this end, a quantitative study was&#xD;
conducted based on a sample of 46 events from a company specialising in open bar cocktail&#xD;
services, located in the city of João Pessoa, between December 2024 and September 2025.&#xD;
The data were analysed using descriptive statistics and analysis of variance (ANOVA),&#xD;
supported by SPSS software, in order to identify significant differences among the groups&#xD;
examined. The results indicate that beverage consumption varies significantly according to the&#xD;
type of event, constituting the primary cost driver of the service. In contrast, fruit consumption&#xD;
exhibited low variability and did not demonstrate a relevant influence on total costs, regardless&#xD;
of event type. These findings reveal the existence of distinct consumption patterns, enabling the&#xD;
open bar cost structure to be understood through two dimensions: a behavioural dimension,&#xD;
associated with beverages, and an operational dimension, related to complementary inputs. As&#xD;
a practical implication, the study contributes to the improvement of service planning and&#xD;
management by supporting the development of more robust strategies aligned with the specific&#xD;
characteristics of each type of event.

      <title>A armadilha do home office: um recorte dos impactos da improvisação ergonômica na saúde física e mental do trabalhador</title>

Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of remote work, shifting labor&#xD;
activities to the domestic environment on an emergency basis and, frequently, without&#xD;
adequate ergonomic support. This study aims to evaluate the impacts of the lack of&#xD;
ergonomic and organizational adaptation in the home office regime on the physical and&#xD;
mental health of professionals, identifying how the improvisation of the workstation affects&#xD;
employee well-being. The methodology is characterized as a descriptive research of a&#xD;
quantitative nature, conducted through a data survey with 62 professionals working in remote&#xD;
or hybrid models. The results revealed a critical lack of infrastructure: most respondents use&#xD;
improvised furniture, such as chairs without lumbar support and inadequate desks, which&#xD;
correlates directly with the high rates of reported lower back pain (68.94%) and cervical pain&#xD;
(75.85%). Within the organizational scope, it was identified that hyperconnectivity and&#xD;
attention fragmentation caused by digital notifications are vectors of exhaustion. It was&#xD;
observed that the “flexibility trap” and the lack of boundaries between personal and&#xD;
professional life aggravate stress, while the lack of instruction provided by companies&#xD;
(87.9%) highlights corporate negligence regarding occupational health in telework. It is&#xD;
concluded that the sustainability of remote work requires organizations to transcend&#xD;
technological support and implement improvements in mental workload management and the&#xD;
physical ergonomics of home-based workstations, aiming to mitigate employee illness and&#xD;
ensure long-term productive efficiency.
