Abstract: In nineteenth-century Brazil, Romanticism consolidated itself as the first major literary&#xD;
movement of national reach as an instrument for the formation of values. During this process,&#xD;
the figure of José de Alencar (1829-1877) stands out, as the author is considered the greatest&#xD;
novelist of the Brazilian romantic movement. That said, the present work aims to investigate&#xD;
the intimate universe explored by José de Alencar in Senhora (1875), in order to highlight the&#xD;
various social aspects addressed by him – marriage, relationships of affection and forms of&#xD;
sociability –, and understand the symbolic and cultural dimension presented in his work. To&#xD;
this end, the novel will be analyzed based on the articulation between Literature, Cultural&#xD;
History and the History of Private Life, using, as the main theoretical basis, the conception of&#xD;
representation formulated by Roger Chartier (2002).

Abstract: This article reports on the experience of the workshop “History in the backyard,” developed&#xD;
with 9th grade students from Antônio Azevedo Municipal School in Baía da Traição,&#xD;
Paraíba, most of whom are Potiguara indigenous people. The initiative sought to&#xD;
overcome the limitations of traditional history teaching through the integration of&#xD;
documentary analysis, photographs, maps, censuses, historical documents, and&#xD;
environmental studies, focusing on local heritage sites, the Church of São Miguel, the&#xD;
municipal cemetery, and the cannons of Aldeia Forte. The results show that concrete&#xD;
engagement with historical sources and the city's heritage awakened greater engagement&#xD;
and a sense of belonging in the students, allowing them to understand processes such as&#xD;
colonization and indigenous resistance based on elements of their immediate reality. The&#xD;
experience highlights the pedagogical power of teaching local history in conjunction with&#xD;
environmental studies, emphasizing its contribution to the appreciation of cultural identity&#xD;
and citizenship education

Abstract: This work investigates the role of Admiral Thomas Cochrane in the independence processes of&#xD;
Chile, Peru, and Brazil, as well as in the repression of the Confederation of the Equator. The&#xD;
research aims to analyze his military campaigns, identify the contradictions of his trajectory,&#xD;
and evaluate his role in the formation of the Brazilian Imperial Navy. The methodology adopted&#xD;
was historiographical analysis, based on the works of Laurentino Gomes, George Ermakoff&#xD;
(dilettante), and Brian Vale (historian), in dialogue with Michel de Certeau’s concept of&#xD;
“historiographical operation, ” as well as contributions from Mary del Priore and Lilia Schwarcz&#xD;
on biography. Cochrane’s trajectory also highlights the role of other figures, such as Brant&#xD;
Pontes and Cunha Moreira, who were fundamental for the consolidation of the Navy. It is&#xD;
concluded that his participation reveals the tensions between personal and national interests,&#xD;
challenging simplistic views of him as either hero or mercenary.

Abstract: It has been three years since we entered the third decade of the 21st century, and the challenges&#xD;
associated with sustainable development have never been as great or as urgent as they are today. The&#xD;
negative consequences of climate change are felt daily. This reflects the current situation in which the&#xD;
implementation of the 2030 Agenda goals to achieve such development in Brazil finds itself: at the&#xD;
forefront of regression. At the same time, in Basic Education, challenges are faced with the mandatory&#xD;
implementation of Cross-Cutting Contemporary Themes (TCTs) and the use of active methodologies&#xD;
and Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDIC) provided for by the National&#xD;
Common Curricular Base, a national normative document. In view of such situations, Project-Based&#xD;
Learning appears to be suitable for corroborating solutions by enabling the articulation between&#xD;
SDGs and TCTs with the help of TDIC. However, all teaching planning requires visual scripts and&#xD;
lesson plans. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the possibility of creating a visual script model&#xD;
and an interdisciplinary lesson plan to organize and plan the implementation of project proposals from&#xD;
a PBL planning form effectively. In this sense, this study was configured as a theoretical research,&#xD;
which was supported by a bibliographical research from books related to Basic Education and PBL.&#xD;
As a result, the construction of the models was possible. Furthermore, it was concluded that such&#xD;
documents are ideal for improving the quality of teaching, as well as the organization and efficiency,&#xD;
and the effectiveness of the proposals.
