      <description>Título: Quadrinhos e afetos : um olhar autobiográfico.
Autor(es): Paschoalick, Letícia

Abstract: This thesis explores, through the practice of “embodied writing”, my artistic creation process based on personal experiences and the relationship with comic books and visual arts. Inspired by theorists such as Julia Kristeva, Michel Foucault, and Carl Jung, the research examines the intersection between autobiographical comics and contemporary art’s theories with emphasis on art-healing, using the artistic project "Eu, euzinha" as a practical example of the hybridism between both areas, not with the intention of self-proclaiming as a comic, but of showcasing it's influences on my creative process. The thesis reflects on the challenges of reconciling the comic book’s language with the visual arts system, highlighting the scarcity of academic research on this subject. Based on that, this work proposes an intimate and introspective approach, connecting creative processes with emotional healing and offering a new perspective for visual arts studies, especially in the context of contemporary art and its margins.

Abstract: This study analyzes the creative process of my drawings from 2017 to 2024, focusing on the technique of pointillism. The research highlights the artistic learning and the challenges faced. The justification lies in the pursuit of providing a path of learning, development, and perseverance, outlining my trajectory as a visual artist. Pointillism, a technique that requires patience and precision, contributed to the development of my&#xD;
identity as an artist, leading in both solo and group exhibitions. The research offers a contribution to the field of Visual Arts, inspiring the work of other artists by investigating the nuances of this complex and creatively challenging technique. The study analyzes the technical and expressive evolution of pointillism over the years, offering insights into the difficulties faced along the way and the achievements attained. The research methodology is centered on studies of visual perception, learning, and cognition in drawing, the historical background of the technique, and a first-person experience description.

Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the contribution of visual artists from Paraíba to the Literary Supplement Correio das Artes during the first year of Sérgio de Castro Pinto direction (1980-1981). With the purpose of promoting and disseminating artistic and literary production, Correio das Artes was founded by the poet and journalist Edson Régis and first circulated on March 27, 1949 as an insert in the newspaper A União. This investigation sought to understand the press as a producer, promoter and distributor of culture, along the lines of cultural journalism. The research was developed from a qualitative approach, with an emphasis on the documentary&#xD;
modality, seeking to identify the participation of visual artists on the covers and illustrations in the pages of Correio das Artes. Through the documentary approach, 34 editions of the supplement were examined, two editions being selected for a more detailed analysis, which resulted in the identification of Correio das Artes as an important space for the dissemination of the work of visual artists from Paraíba.

      <description>Título: Anu é como um rio: a memória caminha pela água.

Abstract: In this work I sought to share about my process of conceiving the script and directing the fiction-reality short film, “O Sonho de Anu” (2024), made possible by the Aldir Blanc Law, followed by a film analysis, following the trajectory of Anu, a young woman originally from the African continent who retraces the steps of her ancestors through the territory of Paraíba, a place where three reunions aim to plant a new memory of the indigenous and black presence in the Brazilian imagination. The objective of this analysis was to particularize the dream, a guiding element in native cultures, as a narrative and poetic line in Anu's trajectory, which was followed by oral memory through audios contained in the film exchanged via WhatsApp with my mother, Daia, about practices fishing ancestors in the Sertão da Paraíba, make up this ancestral universe. Later, I analyzed the presence of the colonizer in the film, symbolized by the appearance of textbooks displaying the content of the “Official History”. When showing the content of the books, I chose the name “image skins” by Davi Kopenawa (2013) to refer to the replicas of paintings from the Brazilian colonial period, in which I chose “The first mass of Brazil” (1860) by Victor Meirelles (1832-1903), to carry out an imagery analysis that departed from the historical context in which it was produced, pointing out the contradictions and violence of the European civilizing process, through the perspective of the Countercolonialism of Mestre Nego Bispo dos Santos (2023). As a result, I suggested a reflection on indigenous and black history and representation in textbooks.
