Abstract: With the need for a tool for automating the generation of configurations needed by the runtime environment of middleware Ginga, we built a software automation to win this. In this software is managed the application engineering of the middleware software product line. The software built was elaborated through Modeling frameworks and an architecture description language, the Fractal ADL. It permits the architecture descriptions; both reference architecture and application architecture. With a component--‐based development, and the FlexCM runtime environment, with dynamic linkage of these components, it is allowed the use of such architecture description language, with a certain adaptation in the reference one so it can be modeled according to a feature model. The interface proposed to the software was a wizard built in three cohesive stages, So that these stages work in distinct processes of the application engineering.

Abstract: This work provides a detailed description of an analog-to-digital converter system. Using components like a successive approximation converter, its main goal is to report a complete, simple, didactic and objective description of the procedures that were part of its development. From the constant observation, checking and simulation of the source code, and always looking for comparisons with similar work, other A/D converters and supporting material, the description was naturally taking shape, discussing about the system’s units, and how they interact to reach the expected results. A brief presentation of the elements required to obtain a complete understanding of it was reported, and then this understanding could be easier to readers. Future works can be evaluated and implemented, considering, for example, the way the data’s capture from external signals is done, always paying attention to improve the used techniques, without forgetting the most acceptable and effective technology to update the system

Abstract: While providing services that require access control configuration, companies are facing problems to establish an association between an individual and an identity. Recently, Web services for authentication based on politics of password, data cryptograph’s mechanism and digital signature are excessively operated. However, these methods still show vulnerabilities that result in a high rate of false verification, even in modern systems. In order to upgrade the level of information system security, the BioPass project is being developed. The BioPass predicts the utilization of multifactor authentication and multibiometrics related to active security. The goal of this project is to search and develop a subsystem of BioPass called HandPass that focuses on biometric recognition using hand geometric analysis. The HandPass excel for the huge functionality that put effect through innovative solutions and software architecture, which is open and reconfigurable. Due the lack of appropriated hand image bases, the research required, firstly, constructing a capture device, and secondly, starting to make a database for images of hands. Subsequently, all the acquired images have passed for a phase of preprocessing where they were segmented for being compared by the FullCSS algorithm. After the first tests have been processed, it was observed that the finger and wrist positions in different hand images of the same person decrease its correlation coefficient. In order to solve this problem, the wrist was removed from the images and an algorithm was developed for searching picks and valleys on fingers, and consequently, through a Warping, all the fingers could be placed in a single position improving the results of comparisons. To further projects, it is expected the increasing of images in databases with achieving more tests and adjusts that have been needed and the integration to other subsystem of BioPass focused on biometric recognition of the palm printing.
