The justification for this work is based on the observation that schools, although essential spaces for the development of social, cultural, and ethical values, also reflect the conflicts, prejudices, and exclusionary practices present in society. The identified issue refers to the prevalence of punitive approaches, which often exacerbate tensions and hinder the teaching learning process, instead of fostering dialogue, active listening, and damage repair. The methodology adopted is qualitative, involving a literature review and field research consisting of semi-structured interviews with the mediation and conciliation team of the João Pessoa (PB) Municipal Guard. Among the main results, it is highlighted that the implementation of school mediation significantly contributes to building a more respectful, empathetic, and collaborative environment, favoring conflict prevention and the promotion of citizenship. The data collected in the interviews corroborate the information presented in the bibliographic references, considering that, in the approach used in the project, mediation is conducted by the students themselves, ensuring the strengthening of autonomy and independence to act in conflict resolution. It is concluded that mediation and conciliation practices in the school context not only resolve immediate conflicts but also strengthen the culture of peace, inclusion, and the development of socio-emotional skills, highlighting their transformative nature for the entire educational community. The main objective of this research is to examine, in this specific case, the obstacles to accessing these rights and how strategies used by the Brazilian social security system influence the increase in violence and social exclusion among artisanal fishers. Initially, through a bibliographic and legislative survey, the research explores the historical, social, and legal context of artisanal fishing in Brazil, addressing key moments, such as the recognition of this category as special insured persons under the General Social Security Regime (RGPS), highlighting the progress made since then and, especially, the challenges faced. To portray this challenging scenario, the monograph begins with a case study of Mariana (fictitious name), a shellfish gatherer from the city of Pitimbu, Paraíba, whose journey highlights the various barriers imposed on those who, like her, work informally in traditional communities and fight for the recognition of their rights. Therefore, this is a qualitative and exploratory study, with bibliographic and documentary analysis and a concrete case study of Mariana.The study is analyzed through accounts, interviews, and documents collected and also provided by research and extension groups at the Federal University of Paraíba, which have been monitoring the shellfish gatherer in this social security context. From this, it becomes possible to understand the strategies used to deny rights within the Brazilian social security system, how the justice system has been handling the situation, and how this has impacted the lives of affected workers, such as the barriers imposed to proving special insured status and the frequent humiliations during medical evaluations. The creation of international regulations emphasizing the issue spurred the development of public policies that guarantee women's rights worldwide. In Brazil, the Maria da Penha Law (11.340/2006) impacted the national legal system and became the first law to guarantee women's rights with an emphasis on domestic and family violence. Thus, violence was conceptualized and treated as a public order issue. In this context, we emphasize the importance of national guidelines in encouraging the regulation of shelter policy in the state of Paraíba, as well as the existence of gaps that impact the social context of violence against women and their return to society, interfering with the development of their autonomy. This research aims to analyze national and state regulations and guidelines for sheltering women experiencing domestic and family violence and understand their implementation in the state of Paraíba. Using the inductive method, semi-structured interviews were conducted for data collection and bibliographic and documentary research was used for theoretical foundation. Therefore, it is essential to understand the importance of shelter units in immediately protecting the lives of women who are at imminent risk of death or who have no option to escape the cycle of violence and feel the pain it causes daily. It is also essential to intensify the development of mechanisms and techniques that ensure the effectiveness of the network during and after the shelter period. The main objective is to assess the feasibility of expanding the agribusiness and food production initiatives of the Landless Workers’ Movement in Paraíba (MST-PB) through the implementation of renewable energy within the production chain.This research is justified by the need for studies that analyze partnerships with the Landless Workers’ Movement in fostering cooperation for food security. The central problem to be addressed concerns the energy transition within the agro-industrial sector of the MST-PB. The guiding question is whether public policy subsidies for the solarization of MST-PB’s solar cooperatives are viable.The specific objectives are: 1) to contribute to the establishment of a solar cooperative within the MST-PB; 2)to examine financing mechanisms to support energy transition projects in the production of agroecological food by MST-PB. The research methodology will consist of collecting information through interviews with farmers and MST-PB leadership regarding the agro-industries of the MST-PB and their energy needs. It will also involve an analysis of solar cooperative legislation, consultation of jurisprudence, books, and scientific articles related to the topic, as well as a case study on the solarization of an MST-PB agro-industry.
