Abstract: The diagnosis of oral cancer generally occurs in the advanced stages of the disease, which increases its morbidity and mortality profile. Health education materials, such as educational booklets, especially in Primary Health Care (PHC), promote access to information and serve as mechanisms for health promotion for the population of the territory. Objective: This dissertation aimed to develop and validate a technical-educational material in the form of a booklet focused on the prevention and early diagnosis of oral cancer, targeted at PHC users. Methods: The first phase of the research began with defining the target audience, followed by conducting a narrative review on oral cancer. Subsequently, a detailed outline with relevant topics was developed, and from this, the booklet was created, including illustrations, layout, and graphic design. Finally, the material was validated by experts in stomatology and/or oral pathology using the Health Educational Content Validation Instrument (IVCES), the Content Validity Index (CVI), and the Flesch Reading Ease Index, ensuring the quality, clarity, and appropriateness of the content for the target audience. Results: The overall Content Validity Index (CVI) was 0.91, exceeding the minimum standard of 0.78. Items related to objectives received high agreement (0.92), highlighting the educational effectiveness of the booklet. The structure and presentation were well evaluated, although language and text length had lower scores (0.84). The relevance of the topic achieved the maximum score (1.00). Significant critiques were raised regarding the recommendation of oral self-examination, leading to its exclusion in the final version of the booklet. Additional suggestions included simplifying the texts and replacing images to improve the clarity and accuracy of the information. Conclusions: The contributions of the specialists, combined with scientific literature, resulted in significant refinements, ensuring that the booklet is understandable and relevant for different audiences. The validated booklet is an effective tool for promoting oral health and preventing oral cancer, potentially increasing awareness and self-care among the population. Abstract: Research that addresses the health of transgender, transsexual, and transvestite people favors the expansion of academic debate, highlighting their main demands and needs. In this sense, this study aims to conduct a scoping review on the health of the transgender (trans and transvestite) population, aiming to identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities to promote equity in access to services and improve the quality of life of these communities. The study was constructed based on the JBI Manual, as a scoping review. The protocol was developed based on the PRISMA Checklist and Explanation structure, whose theoretical precepts contemplate the six methodological steps established for conducting the scoping review: elaboration of the research question; search for relevant studies; screening of studies; extraction of data; separation, summarization, and reporting of results; and dissemination of results. The bibliographic databases of articles published in full in Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), and Google Scholar were consulted. The reading strategy was based on full-text articles in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, with texts from 2012 to 2022. According to the research carried out, it was observed that the health of the transgender and transvestite population faces several barriers, so that greater in-depth quantitative research that contemplates larger and more diverse samples is essential, in addition to taking into account the local diversity of individuals. Although legal advances guarantee fundamental rights, there is still a considerable gap between what is ensured on paper and what is realized in the daily health practice of these citizens. Attention to mental health issues is neglected, even with high rates of depression, suicide, and anxiety that permeate the LGBTQIAPN+ community. Through the scoping review, a Transgender Person Care Form was created to be used with the aim of improving the efficiency of care, strengthening the relationship between users and professionals, and collecting essential epidemiological data to support inclusive public policies. It is concluded that the review of scientific and technical literature, combined with the identification of regional barriers and the proposal of inclusive guidelines, are essential to promote equity in access to health and improve the quality of life of these people. This master's thesis is the result of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program in Professional Master's in Family Health (PROFSAÚDE).

Abstract: Syphilis, which has existed for over 500 years, is considered a public health problem due to its high incidence. It is an infectious disease that affects thousands of people each year. Despite the ease of diagnosing and treating syphilis, it continues to be an epidemic presence in our society. Approximately 12 million cases of this disease are detected each year in adults, with around 1.85% of these cases occurring in pregnant women. Primary Health Care (PHC), as the gateway to the Unified Health System (SUS), has been playing a relevant and strategic role in both the prevention and early detection of syphilis in the mother-baby binomial. OBJECTIVE: To develop the therapeutic itineraries followed by pregnant and postpartum women who had babies reported with congenital syphilis and to analyze the main difficulties associated with treatments both during prenatal care in PHC and hospital care at the time of delivery. METHOD: This is an observational, descriptive, cross-sectional, prospective study with qualitative analysis, carried out between September 2023 and June 2024, with pregnant and postpartum women diagnosed with syphilis. Such data were collected through recorded interviews in open dialogue, in addition to the application of a semi-structured questionnaire containing socioepidemiological data and questions regarding the trajectory of these women from prenatal care to delivery. A database was constructed, composed of the oral narratives of the participants and subsequently analyzed descriptively. RESULT: Sociodemographic data identified in the profile of patients that 66.6% belonged to an age group between 20 and 29 years old, 100% had an income below 2 minimum wages; 75% self-identified as brown and 66.6% did not have any profession. Regarding gestational data, 50% of them received prenatal care according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health. To analyze the patients' narratives, seven thematic categories were created: 1) Difficulties in accessing the service to start prenatal care, 2) Difficulties in treating the partner, 3) Perception about knowledge of the disease, 4) Professional conduct and treatment of syphilis, 5) Difficulties in performing tests, 6) Difficulties encountered in the UBS for administering penicillin and 7) Maternal feelings regarding the diagnosis of congenital syphilis. CONCLUSION: Failures were identified in the professional teams that performed prenatal care, resulting in the continuation of the chain of congenital syphilis contamination, generating emotional instability in patients and their families. Barriers were observed in the health network that made it difficult to provide qualified care to patients. The scenarios and stories demonstrate the need for greater investment in professional training, improvement in prenatal care, adequate management of public health supplies and increased investment in health education for teams and patients, seeking to minimize harm by improving the care provided to this population.
