Abstract: The struggle and resistance of indigenous peoples to guarantee their rights constitute a long historical trajectory in Brazil, marked by continuous confrontations in the face of centuries of colonization, territorial expropriation, epistemic silencing and multiple forms of violence. By resisting, these people ensure their physical and cultural survival and put tension on the structures inherited from colonial modernity, contributing to the construction of a more just, plural and epistemically diverse society. In this scenario of disputes in the social, political and symbolic field, information literacy presents itself as a theoretical and practical horizon capable of problematizing the colonial legacies inscribed in the structures of power, being and knowledge, promoting the formation of critical subjects in the face of the dynamics of information domination. In this context, this work aims to analyze indigenous components that highlight the conformation of elements in the macroprocess of critical information literacy of Brazilian original peoples, within the horizon of countercoloniality. The research is characterized as descriptive, with a qualitative approach, aimed at identifying and describing elements mobilized through this competence as a form of decolonial and countercolonial resistance, expressed in informational practices and indigenous literary narratives. Operationalized through documentary and bibliographical research, with surveys and content analyzes of productions by indigenous authors, the research enabled the categorization and interpretation of recurring elements that highlight decolonial and countercolonial dynamics and shape critical information literacy. The results demonstrate that the elements of this competence present in this literature operate as informational strategies and instruments of social emancipation, by reaffirming collective memories, territorialities, ancestries and cosmologies historically silenced by the colonial project. The results highlight, firstly, the informational practices that mobilize critical information literacy and tension hegemonic epistemologies via critical decolonial and countercolonial perspectives. Furthermore, they characterize elements that shape this competence through actors, artifacts, devices and actions of indigenous information, which support these resistance practices as strategies for emancipation and reaffirmation of their own epistemologies. And, finally, they systematize these findings in proposing a theoretical-methodological model aimed at indigenous contexts. From these results, it was found that critical competence in information goes beyond the technical dimension and assumes a political, ethical and epistemic character, linked to the defense of life, territory and ways of existing of these people, configuring itself as a formative macroprocess that can tension the coloniality of power, knowledge and being, strengthening processes of self-representation and consolidating informational autonomy as a horizon of transformation and countercoloniality. It is considered that, when articulated with countercolonial perspectives, this competence broadens its political, epistemic and transformative character, enabling the expansion of debate in the field of Information Science and related areas, encouraging new research focused on the context of Brazilian original peoples.

Abstract: Digital transformation has profoundly impacted information management in public institutions,&#xD;
requiring strategies that ensure the preservation, accessibility, and reliability of digital objects.&#xD;
In the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Paraíba (MPPB), the implementation of the MP Digital&#xD;
program marked a turning point in this process by establishing guidelines for modernizing&#xD;
information flows and building data-driven governance. This research analyzed the&#xD;
management and preservation of digital objects within the MPPB from 2023 to 2025, focusing&#xD;
on institutional policies and the tools developed under the National Strategy for MP Digital.&#xD;
The study employed a qualitative, exploratory, and descriptive approach, based on documentary&#xD;
analysis and literature review. The analysis was guided by the FAIR (Findable, Accessible,&#xD;
Interoperable, Reusable) and CARE (Collective Benefit, Authority to Control, Responsibility,&#xD;
Ethics) principles, as well as the DataONE Data Lifecycle model, which together structured the&#xD;
critical evaluation of institutional practices in digital governance and preservation. The results&#xD;
indicated advances in the expansion of citizen-oriented digital services and in the adoption of&#xD;
process automation solutions, with incipient use of generative artificial intelligence tools,&#xD;
positioning the MPPB at an intermediate level of digital maturity. Conversely, the diagnostics&#xD;
revealed limitations in system interoperability, the absence of a consolidated institutional digital&#xD;
strategy, and an initial level of data governance maturity, with impacts on the integrated use&#xD;
and long-term preservation of digital objects. As technical outcomes, the research developed a&#xD;
Digital Solutions Catalog, compiling the technological tools used by MPPB, and a Best&#xD;
Practices Guide for Data Management, aimed at standardization, interoperability, and&#xD;
information security. The results contributed to strengthening information governance,&#xD;
fostering a digital preservation culture in the public sector, and providing practical and&#xD;
conceptual tools applicable to data management in other public institutions.

Abstract: Newspapers do more than simply record facts; they construct narratives that keep collective memory alive, reinterpreting events in the light of time and transmitting values, knowledge, and identities to new generations. In this regard, the research, entitled "Between Echoes and Silences: the Borborema Diary and the Memories of the History of Campina Grande (Paraíba), analyzes the Borborema Diary (JDBO) as an infomemorial vehicle, highlighting its role in the construction of collective memory in Campina Grande. Active for 54 years (1958–2012), the JDBO is recognized as a relevant source for understanding the echoes and silences that permeate Campina Grande's cultural history. It addresses the following guiding question: How the newspaper Diário da Borborema (JBDO) contributed to the construction of social and cultural memories that strengthened Campina Grande’s identity, through the representation of historical and everyday events that shaped the city’s trajectory. General objective: to analyze how the Diário da Borborema preserves and updates social and cultural memories of Campina Grande (PB), highlighting its contribution to collective memory. Specific objectives: a) to highlight the infomemorial devices that highlight events such as: a) the Feast of Saint John, the Winter Festival, the Campina Grande Central Market, and the Campina Grande Technological Center; b) to investigate images, historical moments, and aspects of daily life that impacted Campina Grande society; c) to examine how journalistic narratives legitimize cultural and social practices, revealing symbolic negotiations between tradition and modernity. The theoretical foundation is outlined based on the contributions of authors accredited in the field of Information Science and related fields, namely: Aróstegui (historical research, 2006); Assmann (collective memory, 2011); Canclini and Hall (acculturation, identity, and representation); Capurro (epistemology, CI, 2003); Chartier (cultural history, 1990); Dodebel (social memory, 2006); Halbwachs (collective memory, 2006); Le Golf (history and memory, 2003); Nora (places of memory, 1993); Ricoeur (silences and forgetting, 2007), among others. The methodological approach is based on a qualitative, exploratory, and descriptive approach. This is documentary research—a corpus comprised of selected editions of the JDBO, prioritizing reports, editorials, columns, and images covering the Festa de São João, the Winter Festival, the CG Free Market, and the Technological Center. Bibliographic, documentary, and newspaper procedures were used to investigate JDBO editions, based on documentary and thematic analysis techniques. To this end, the thematic content analysis technique (Bardin, 2011) was used, focusing on identifying infomemorial devices, cultural representations, and silencing. The results reveal the potential of the JDBO as a legitimate source of social memory, reinforcing interdisciplinary practices that contribute to the appreciation of the press as an active agent in the construction of local history.

      <title>Trajetória memorialística da Biblioteconomia na Universidade Federal da Paraíba</title>
      <link>https://repositorio.ufpb.br/jspui/handle/123456789/37713</link>
      <description>Título: Trajetória memorialística da Biblioteconomia na Universidade Federal da Paraíba

Abstract: This study addresses institutional memory and the elements that constitute it as carriers of&#xD;
multiple meanings for a given group, acting as factors of collective identification. The&#xD;
concept of institutional memory is discussed in articulation with that of information,&#xD;
understood as the raw material of postmodern societies, from a Lyotardian perspective. In&#xD;
this context, spaces of memory assume a significant informational role, since the&#xD;
documentary records preserved within them are interpreted as components of memorial&#xD;
narratives capable of revealing individual and institutional trajectories. The research&#xD;
investigates how institutional documents and oral testimonies contribute to the&#xD;
understanding of the scientific and social memory of Paraíba librarianship, based on the&#xD;
trajectory of the Librarianship Program at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) over the&#xD;
past fifty years. The general objective is to understand the memory constituted by the&#xD;
historical and social trajectory of the UFPB Librarianship Program across five decades of&#xD;
existence. As specific objectives, the study seeks to: map the memory media of the&#xD;
Program from 1969 to 2019; trace the historical and social actions of faculty members,&#xD;
outlining their institutional profile and their relationship with the regional context;&#xD;
investigate the process of academic and social institutionalization of the Program; and&#xD;
identify the outcomes of its activities in university education and in its interactions with&#xD;
Paraíba society. To achieve the proposed objectives, memory traces present in official and&#xD;
institutional documents of the Program were analyzed. The methodology adopted is&#xD;
situated within a documentary perspective, grounded in the evidentiary method and oral&#xD;
history, interpreted through a qualitative approach, which enabled a spatial and temporal&#xD;
delimitation of the Program’s trajectory. Data collection was carried out through interviews&#xD;
conducted both remotely and in person with individuals directly linked to the institution’s&#xD;
history. The results show that the fiftieth anniversary of the UFPB Librarianship Program, as&#xD;
revealed by recorded and evoked memories, points to a solid institutional genesis marked&#xD;
by continuities and transformations that express its ongoing evolution. The study proposes&#xD;
the creation of a Digital Memorial of Librarianship at UFPB and demonstrates the profound&#xD;
articulation between memory, information, and document, showing that institutional&#xD;
memory goes beyond the mere evocation of the past, configuring itself as a vector of&#xD;
meanings capable of illuminating the present and projecting perspectives for the future.; RÉSUMÉ. Cette étude aborde la mémoire institutionnelle et les éléments qui la constituent en tant&#xD;
que porteurs de significations multiples pour un groupe donné, agissant comme des&#xD;
facteurs d’identification collective. Le concept de mémoire institutionnelle est discuté en&#xD;
articulation avec celui de l’information, comprise comme la matière première des sociétés&#xD;
postmodernes, dans une perspective lyotardienne. Dans ce contexte, les espaces de&#xD;
mémoire assument une fonction informationnelle majeure, dans la mesure où les&#xD;
documents qui y sont conservés sont interprétés comme des composantes de récits&#xD;
mémoriels, capables de révéler des trajectoires individuelles et institutionnelles. La&#xD;
recherche analyse la manière dont les documents institutionnels et les récits oraux&#xD;
contribuent à la compréhension de la mémoire scientifique et sociale de la&#xD;
bibliothéconomie paraibana, à partir de la trajectoire du Cours de bibliothéconomie de&#xD;
l’Université fédérale de Paraíba (UFPB) au cours des cinquante dernières années. L’objectif&#xD;
général consiste à comprendre la mémoire constituée par la trajectoire historique et&#xD;
sociale du Cours de bibliothéconomie de l’UFPB sur cinq décennies d’existence. Les&#xD;
objectifs spécifiques sont les suivants : cartographier les médiums de mémoire du Cours&#xD;
sur la période de 1969 à 2019 ; retracer les actions historiques et sociales du corps&#xD;
enseignant, en définissant son profil institutionnel et sa relation avec le contexte régional ;&#xD;
analyser le processus d’institutionnalisation académique et sociale du Cours ; et identifier&#xD;
les retombées de son action dans la formation universitaire et dans les articulations avec&#xD;
la société paraibana. Pour atteindre les objectifs proposés, des indices de mémoire&#xD;
présents dans des documents officiels et institutionnels du Cours ont été analysés. La&#xD;
méthodologie adoptée s’inscrit dans une perspective documentaire, fondée sur la&#xD;
méthode indiciaire et l’histoire orale, interprétées à partir d’une approche qualitative, ce&#xD;
qui a permis une délimitation spatiale et temporelle de la trajectoire du Cours. La collecte&#xD;
des données a été réalisée au moyen d’entretiens, menés à distance et en présentiel,&#xD;
auprès de personnes directement liées à l’histoire de l’institution. Les résultats montrent&#xD;
que le cinquantenaire du Cours de bibliothéconomie de l’UFPB, révélé par les mémoires&#xD;
enregistrées et évoquées, met en évidence une genèse institutionnelle solide, marquée par&#xD;
des permanences et des transformations qui expriment son évolution continue. L’étude&#xD;
propose la création d’un Mémorial numérique de la bibliothéconomie de l’UFPB et&#xD;
démontre la profonde articulation entre mémoire, information et document, soulignant&#xD;
que la mémoire institutionnelle dépasse la simple évocation du passé pour se configurer&#xD;
comme un vecteur de significations capable d’éclairer le présent et de projeter des&#xD;
perspectives pour l’avenir.
