Abstract: This dissertation analysed the relation between the architectural elements and the thermal comfort variables, based on the ergonomics principles. The objectives lead us to the direction of the users' health and comfort needs at the workplaces, collaborating on their productivity increase. Achieved by a conceptual study followed by a case study developed in a graphic industry located in the industrial district of João Pessoa in Paraíba, its methodology used the route proposed by Ubirajara Mattos (1987) to identify the industry. It applied the observations and measurements in loco to identify the architectural elements. The thermal comfort measurement accorded to the ASHRAE (1997) norm and through the application of the Model of PMV (ISO 7730/94) proposed by Fanger (1970) and the activities ergonomic analysis was based on the tables elaborated by Fialho and Santos (1997). The results demonstrated a great thermal dissatisfaction at the work environment caused by the inadequacy of the graphic industry architecture to the climate, considering the activities developed. It was recommended the increment of the ergonomics elements and of the bioclimatic strategies in the researches, in the teaching and in the architecture design practice, aiming to a requalification of the human activities places, in particular the working environment.

Abstract: Beer is the most consumed and known drink in the world. It was discovered&#xD;
thousands of years ago and its production has been improved over time up to the present&#xD;
day with different styles of beer that use the most varied inputs. This temporization of the&#xD;
drink led the market to become increasingly demanding with the quality of the product,&#xD;
aroused the interest in exploring beers with additions of input that refer to regional&#xD;
characteristics, and requires that in addition to a great flavor, it has functional properties.&#xD;
Aiming at this new and challenging market demand, the objective of this work is to&#xD;
develop a American IPA with the addition of Seriguela (Spondias purpúrea), in order to&#xD;
develop an accessible product, that meets the market demands, and that has high added&#xD;
value. To meet these objectives, a study was first developed to identify the main resources&#xD;
and capacity related to innovation practices of local breweries, thus it was possible to&#xD;
identify if they have the proper innovation tools to produce a more complex and&#xD;
innovative beer. Secondly, market research was carried out to identify the main sensory&#xD;
characteristics that craft beer consumers desire in an American IPA. Finally, a craft beer&#xD;
with the addition of Seriguela was produced in different concentrations (0%, 10%, 15%).&#xD;
The drinks were analyzed for their antioxidant content through three different analyzes&#xD;
(FRAP, ABTS, and DPPH), and were submitted to sensory evaluation (acceptance and&#xD;
purchase test). The three beers obtained had excellent acceptance and all had a high&#xD;
antioxidant activity, thus, giving the drink a functional character. In this way, it is possible&#xD;
to produce an innovative, functional and affordable beer for both craft breweries and local&#xD;
consumers.

Abstract: Corporate Social Performance has become an important tool for organizations that aim for corporate sustainability, therefore, investing in this perspective is increasingly interesting for managers. Therefore, this research aims to analyze and understand CSP practices in a small company in the footwear sector in the city of Campina Grande. The choice of this economic sector was due to its strong influence in the context of the economy and society in Campinas. Therefore, to analyze these practices in a pragmatic way, we chose to use Nóbrega's model (1979), given its performance perspective from a multi-stakeholder perspective, covering several aspects simultaneously. To operationalize the study, data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaires helped to understand the expectations, perceptions and, consequently, the groups' assessments of social issues inherent to their realities as stakeholders. The interviews, in turn, were carried out with managers to obtain support for comparing the stakeholders' vision with the of the company. Quantitative data, obtained through questionnaires, were analyzed using the Fisher and Wilcoxon Test, as well as Descriptive Statistics, with the aid of Microsoft Office Excel software (version 2016) and R-project software (version 3.4.4). Content Analysis was carried out on the qualitative data, obtained through interviews, with the help of Atlas TI. The results showed critical points that the company needs to focus on to guarantee the best relationship with stakeholders, as well as issues that are being well evaluated.

Abstract: Brazil is experiencing a period of several uncertainties for new investments and an&#xD;
increasing use of renewable energy, mainly wind and solar photovoltaic energy.&#xD;
Given this context, the objective is to assess the economic viability of using&#xD;
photovoltaic energy systems with three levels of consumption profiles in the five&#xD;
geographic regions of the country, comparing scenarios and considering the&#xD;
uncertainties involved in the process through a Monte Carlo simulation (SMC ). The&#xD;
applied method uses as criteria the positive Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate&#xD;
of Return (IRR) greater than the Minimum Attractiveness Rate (TMA) desired by&#xD;
investors and the time of return on investment (payback). For this purpose, a survey&#xD;
of the solar irradiation rate will be made through the NASA website, panel inclination&#xD;
characteristics and solar orientation according to the manufacturers' considerations,&#xD;
and losses of system efficiency, considered through the PVSyst® software, and thus,&#xD;
define the value investment and cash flow characteristics over the life of the projects.&#xD;
In the end, the main uncertainty is considered, the binomial tariff, which would be a&#xD;
charging modality that, for the micro-generators and mini-generators in distributed&#xD;
generation, would be charged with reference to fixed transmission and distribution&#xD;
costs corresponding to these generation units. . The binomial tariff, proposed by&#xD;
ANEEL in 2019 did not go to the Congress as determined by the President of the&#xD;
Republic, but it still has defenders and may be discussed again in the future, which&#xD;
may have a strong impact on the viability of photovoltaic systems and becomes a&#xD;
factor to discourage investment in distributed generation in Brazil. The differential of&#xD;
this work is to present a study with stochastic variables, which include uncertainties&#xD;
involved, and according to the research premises, considering the IRR criterion&gt;&#xD;
10%, it is concluded that solar energy in the five cities observed, being applied the&#xD;
systems dimensioning projects used in this study, the simulations are feasible in&#xD;
more than 93.52% of the cases, considering the worst simulated scenario, which&#xD;
demonstrates that photovoltaic solar energy is a very attractive investment in Brazil,&#xD;
even considering changes in the taxation of the energy consumed by the&#xD;
concessionaire during non-production times.
