      <description>Título: Estudos do léxico Potiguara (PB): linguagens do mangue e identidade
Autor(es): Gomes, Ivanilza Cinesio

Abstract: Indigenous peoples who, at some point, have suffered incisive contact with non-indigenous&#xD;
people, losing distinctive aspects of their ancestors, have been undergoing prejudice, mostly&#xD;
due to stereotypes linked to the indigenous people. As a study with the Potiguara people of&#xD;
Paraíba, this master's thesis aims to demystify the stereotype related to ethnic identity linked&#xD;
to the use of the indigenous ancestral language. The object of this study is the Potiguara&#xD;
lexicon used in the mangrove (manguezal). This research aimed to answer the following&#xD;
problem: how does the lexical repertoire of the Potiguara people of Paraíba, specifically the&#xD;
vocabulary used in the mangrove, relate to their ethnic identity? To solve the question, the&#xD;
research was based on the following general objective: to analyze lexical items used in the&#xD;
context of the mangrove by the Potiguara people of Paraíba to support the ethnolinguistic&#xD;
characteristics marked along the Potiguara territory. The specific objectives are the following:&#xD;
identify the lexical items present in the speech of the Potiguara people related to the mangrove&#xD;
experience; examine how the study of mangrove lexicon is articulated with the social aspects&#xD;
of Potiguara life; investigate the meanings and uses of these lexical items in the utterance of&#xD;
Potiguara identity. To achieve the objectives, field research employed observation and&#xD;
application of social forms (Bortoni-Ricardo, 2004) and a questionnaire. The study featured&#xD;
five Potiguara employees who work or have worked on the mangrove. The lexical data&#xD;
collected were compared to academic papers and the following dictionaries: Dicionário de&#xD;
Silveira Bueno - Vocabulário Tupi-Guarani Português (1998); Dicionário de Eduardo de&#xD;
Almeida Navarro - Dicionário Tupi Antigo: A língua indígena clássica do Brasil (2013);&#xD;
Dicionário de Candido de Figueiredo - Novo Diccionário da Língua Portuguesa (1913); and&#xD;
the Dicionário Michaelis Online. The results showed that, through the analysis of lexical units&#xD;
and discourses of belonging and connection to the mangrove environment, the Potiguara&#xD;
people of Paraíba use lexical items socio-historically motivated by the relations of speakers to&#xD;
the territory and their territorialities.; MIMOMIRĨ&#xD;

      <title>Processamento da coesão correferencial na leitura de parágrafos por adultos com e sem TDAH</title>

      <description>Título: Processamento da coesão correferencial na leitura de parágrafos por adultos com e sem TDAH
Autor(es): Vega, Milena Socorro Rocha Gaspar
Orientador: Ferrari Neto, José
Abstract: This research is based on the general hypothesis that different types of anaphoric coreferential&#xD;
cohesion impose distinct cognitive demands during reading processing in adults with and&#xD;
without ADHD, such that certain types of retrieval become more costly, and that this cost&#xD;
differs between groups. The general objectives are to explain aspects of anaphoric referential&#xD;
cohesion processing in Brazilian Portuguese, observing this process in adults with and without&#xD;
ADHD, and to investigate possible differences in relation to individuals with typical&#xD;
development. Specifically, the objectives are to characterize linguistic and cognitive aspects&#xD;
of ADHD with regard to coreferential processing; to contribute to studies that interrelate&#xD;
disorders that affect language with linguistic processing; and to provide evidence that can&#xD;
support the development of pedagogical or clinical interventions for individuals with ADHD.&#xD;
We also aim to explain whether online processing is affected by the different types of&#xD;
cohesion: explicit, implicit, and broken, and whether the types of anaphora (repeated noun,&#xD;
pronoun, and hypernym) have different processing costs. A sample of 32 participants&#xD;
voluntarily participated in this experiment: 16 adults with a medical diagnosis of ADHD and&#xD;
16 adults with typical neurodevelopment, aged 18 or older, who met the inclusion criteria and&#xD;
were pursuing at least a bachelor's degree. A self-paced reading experiment was conducted to&#xD;
analyze the processing of anaphoric coreferential cohesion in paragraphs and the types of&#xD;
cohesion. The data showed no significant differences between the groups with and without&#xD;
ADHD. A statistically significant effect was observed in both groups regarding the different&#xD;
types of cohesion (explicit, implicit, and broken) and the different types of anaphora&#xD;
(pronoun, repeated noun, and hyperonymy), indicating more costly processing of implicit&#xD;
cohesion, when the subject requires inference to reach the antecedent, and less demanding&#xD;
processing of pronoun coreference. Therefore, it can be concluded that there are different&#xD;
processing costs for the different types of cohesion, especially implicit cohesion, in&#xD;
individuals with and without ADHD, when compared with each other and in the type of task&#xD;
proposed here. However, ADHD does not appear to present greater processing difficulties.&#xD;
Further studies need to be conducted with a larger sample, including testing of executive&#xD;
functions, controlling medication use by the clinical group, and considering the reading habits&#xD;
of both groups.

      <title>Desempenho Linguístico inicial de crianças com Microcefalia secundária à Síndrome Congênita do Zika Vírus</title>
      <link>https://repositorio.ufpb.br/jspui/handle/123456789/37790</link>
      <description>Título: Desempenho Linguístico inicial de crianças com Microcefalia secundária à Síndrome Congênita do Zika Vírus
Autor(es): Neves, Tatiana Michelinne Aires
Orientador: Alves, Giorvan Ânderson dos Santos
Abstract: From birth, the child is immersed in the social world, where human activity is mediated by&#xD;
language. Gradually, the child appropriates the traces of culture through his action on the&#xD;
world and the relations with objects and with the other. Children with atypical development&#xD;
may be slow to communicate through oral language, or may not be able to develop it,&#xD;
featuring less than expected language performance. Thus, understanding how this process of&#xD;
language acquisition and development occurs is fundamental for social relations in children.&#xD;
Children with Zika Virus Congenital Syndrome (ZIKV) are known to have neuropsychomotor&#xD;
developmental delay, and in view of this fact, studies are needed to analyze the language&#xD;
acquisition process of this population to provide intervention subsidies, whether family or&#xD;
through the development of resources and strategies sensitive to this complex path of&#xD;
language appropriation. Therefore, the present study aims to evaluate the initial linguistic&#xD;
performance of ten children with Microcephaly secondary to ZIKV Congenital Syndrome.&#xD;
For this, a quantitative evaluation was carried out through the Early Language Milestone&#xD;
Scale (ELM), which contains three language milestones: expressive auditory function (AE),&#xD;
receptive auditory function (AR) and visual function (V). This scale is a concise language&#xD;
assessment tool capable of detecting changes in the first three years of life. Its application&#xD;
followed the direct test (T) conduct of the child; incidental observation of the behavior in&#xD;
question (O) and / or parent report (H). A vertical line was plotted on the chronological age of&#xD;
each child, and then all items crossing that line were checked in each of the three AR, AE, V&#xD;
functions to determine the ceiling and base levels. The three items of success and failure in&#xD;
each of the functions were then identified. At the end of the test, the age of performance of&#xD;
each function (AE, AR and V) was obtained. Regardless of the chronological age, 100% of&#xD;
the children presented impairment in the auditory area expressive, auditory receptive and&#xD;
visual, characterizing performance below expectations. In the face of the challenges related to&#xD;
the communication of the child with Microcephaly secondary to Congenital Syndrome of the&#xD;
ZIKV and of the little literature still existing that approach this subject, it reinforces its&#xD;
importance, because it is through communication that the other will relate to the child, the&#xD;
sense of words and building effective communication.

      <title>Discurso na vida e na arte: leituras dialógicas do discurso religioso cristão no filme ressurreição</title>
      <link>https://repositorio.ufpb.br/jspui/handle/123456789/37789</link>
      <description>Título: Discurso na vida e na arte: leituras dialógicas do discurso religioso cristão no filme ressurreição
Autor(es): Leal, José Luciano Marculino
Orientador: Almeida, Maria de Fátima
Abstract: The present doctoral thesis, which is anchored in the conceptions of the&#xD;
Dialogical Theory of Language, promulgated by the Bakhtin Circle, consists of&#xD;
reflecting on the reading of the Christian religious discourse, materialized by the&#xD;
filmic text regarded as a dialogic-discursive genre, bordered in the sense of&#xD;
building a project of enunciative saying that proclaims Christ as the Messiah&#xD;
Savior of the world, in the light of a, until then, unbeliever - soldier of the Roman&#xD;
empire Clavius. The work defends the thesis that a dialogic-discursive approach&#xD;
to the film genre makes it possible to understand the statements in a&#xD;
perspective that emphasizes the inseparable relationship between discourse in&#xD;
life and discourse in art, as found in the writings of the Bakhtin Circle. In this&#xD;
way, the question-problem that conducted the research was: How the discourse&#xD;
in life and the discourse in art are established in the filmic narrative&#xD;
Resurrection, revealing aspects related to the uniqueness of the filmic text in&#xD;
question, to the dialogic relations established in it and to the evaluative&#xD;
movements of nominations to the figure of Christ by the character Clavius? To&#xD;
answer this question, its objectives were listed in: General – to analyze,&#xD;
dialogically, the relationship between the discourse in life and in art in the&#xD;
narrative about the death and resurrection of Christ in the filmic text&#xD;
Resurrection; and Specific – defending the singularity in the discursive angle of&#xD;
Reynolds' film narrative (2016); to investigate dialogical relationships entangled&#xD;
in the discursive threads between the biblical text and the filmic text&#xD;
Resurrection; and to analyze the evaluative movements about Jesus Christ&#xD;
accentuated, chronotopically, by the soldier Clavius. With regard to the&#xD;
methodological aspect, the analytical ambience was orchestrated from the&#xD;
sociological method, promulgated by the Bakhtin Circle, and, as the corpus of&#xD;
the research, the film Resurrection released in 2016, on a worldwide scale, by&#xD;
the North American director Kevin Reynolds was chosen. . Regarding the&#xD;
results of the research, the analysis provided an opportunity to understand that&#xD;
reading the filmic discourse, from the perspective of the sociological method,&#xD;
corresponds to the intersection of linguistic materiality and imagery content,&#xD;
considering the verbo-ideological and concrete life of the utterances. Thus, the&#xD;
perception that Resurrection is configured as a narrative that is characterized by&#xD;
having a filmic discourse of a singular character, pregnant with unique accents,&#xD;
is highlighted by summoning, through dialogicities entangled in the discursive&#xD;
thread of the biblical text, semiotic acts amalgamated with aspects that, in a&#xD;
dialogical-discursive way, frame the artistic scenario of Reynolds' film (2016). In&#xD;
this scenario, the analytical movement clarified the filmic discourse as an&#xD;
enunciative activity, dialogic in nature, steeped in unique axiologies and points&#xD;
of view. This understanding made it possible to comprehend dialogical&#xD;
strategies, of an imagery-discursive nature, as concrete statements&#xD;
chronotopically situated, viscerally bathed in art and social life.; RÉSUMÉ&#xD;
&#xD;
La présente thèse de doctorat, ancrée dans les exigences de la Théorie&#xD;
dialogique du langage, promulguée par le Cercle Bakhtine, consiste à réfléchir&#xD;
sur la lecture du discours religieux chrétien, matérialisé par le texte filmique&#xD;
conçu comme un genre dialogique-discursif, encadré dans le sens de construire&#xD;
un projet de dire énonciatif qui proclame le Christ comme le Messie Sauveur du&#xD;
monde, à la lumière d'un, jusque-là, incroyant - soldat de l'empire romain&#xD;
&#xD;
Clavius. L'ouvrage défend la thèse selon laquelle une approche dialogique-&#xD;
discursive du genre physique permet d'appréhender les énoncés dans une&#xD;
&#xD;
perspective qui met l'accent sur le rapport inséparable entre discours dans la&#xD;
vie et discours dans l'art, tel qu'on le retrouve dans les écrits du Cercle&#xD;
Bakhtine. Ainsi, la question-problème qui a guidé la recherche était : Comment&#xD;
le discours dans la vie et le discours dans l'art sont-ils établis dans le récit&#xD;
filmique en termes de valeurs de nominations à la figure du Christ par le&#xD;
personnage Clavius ? Pour répondre à cette question, ses objectifs ont été&#xD;
listés dans Général – analyser, de manière dialogique, la relation entre le&#xD;
discours dans la vie et dans l'art dans le récit sur la mort et la résurrection du&#xD;
Christ dans le texte filmique Resurreição ; et Spécifique – défendre la&#xD;
singularité dans l'angle discursif du récit cinématographique de Reynolds&#xD;
(2016) ; enquêter sur les relations dialogiques enchevêtrées dans les fils&#xD;
discursifs entre le texte biblique et le texte filmique Résurrection ; et d'analyser&#xD;
les mouvements évaluatifs sur Jésus-Christ accentués, chronotopiquement, par&#xD;
le soldat Clavius. En ce qui concerne l'aspect méthodologique, l'ambiance&#xD;
analytique a été orchestrée à partir de la méthode sociologique, promulguée&#xD;
par le Cercle Bakhtine, et, comme corpus de la recherche, le film Resurrection&#xD;
sorti en 2016, à l'échelle mondiale, du réalisateur nord-américain Kevin&#xD;
Reynolds a été choisi. . En ce qui concerne les résultats de la recherche,&#xD;
l'analyse a permis de comprendre que la lecture du discours filmique, du point&#xD;
de vue de la méthode sociologique, correspond à l'intersection de la matérialité&#xD;
linguistique et du contenu imagé, compte tenu de la vie verbo-idéologique et&#xD;
concrète des énoncés. . Ainsi, la perception que Ressurreição est configurée&#xD;
comme un récit qui se caractérise par un discours filmique d'un caractère&#xD;
singulier, riche d'accents uniques, est mise en évidence en convoquant, à&#xD;
travers des dialogicités enchevêtrées dans le fil discursif du texte biblique, des&#xD;
&#xD;
actes sémiotiques amalgamés avec aspects qui, de manière dialogique-&#xD;
discursive, encadrent le scénario artistique du film de Reynolds (2016). Dans ce&#xD;
&#xD;
scénario, le mouvement analytique a précisé le discours filmique comme une&#xD;
activité énonciative, de nature dialogique, imprégnée d'axiologies et de points&#xD;
de vue singuliers. Cette compréhension a permis de concevoir des stratégies&#xD;
dialogiques, de nature imagerie-discursive, comme des énoncés concrets&#xD;
situés chronologiquement, baignés viscéralement dans l'art et la vie sociale.
