      <title>Contradições da área sociojurídica: uma análise da instrumentalidade do Serviço Social no Ministério Público do Estado da Bahia</title>

      <description>Título: Contradições da área sociojurídica: uma análise da instrumentalidade do Serviço Social no Ministério Público do Estado da Bahia
Autor(es): Encarnação, Wagner Souza da
Orientador: Pereira, Danielle Viana Lugo
Abstract: This dissertation aims primarily to analyze the contradictions inherent to the socio-legal field&#xD;
and their impacts on the work of social workers within the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the&#xD;
State of Bahia (MPBA), through the lens of the instrumental dimension of Social Work. The&#xD;
secondary objectives include: a) discussing the instrumental dimension of Social Work in the&#xD;
socio-legal field; b) investigating the specificities of the social worker’s practice within the&#xD;
MPBA; and c) identifying the particularities of social work in this institutional context,&#xD;
especially in light of conservative influences and their implications for the professional ethicalpolitical&#xD;
project. The research is grounded in historical-dialectical materialism, which enables&#xD;
a critical reflection on bourgeois sociability and its contradictions within the socio-historical&#xD;
movement of social reality. This is a qualitative, exploratory study. The main data collection&#xD;
method involved semi-structured interviews conducted via the digital platform&#xD;
ConferênciaWeb with social workers from the MPBA. Data were analyzed using content&#xD;
analysis, supported by literature review and document analysis. The research revealed that the&#xD;
work of social workers in the MPBA is marked by contradictions and ambiguities – at times&#xD;
aligned with public policy surveillance, the judicialization of social issues, and the&#xD;
criminalization of poverty; at other times enabling the realization of social rights, particularly&#xD;
collective and individual rights. Additionally, the presence of conservative ideological&#xD;
remnants in the MPBA can be observed, influencing how social workers address reality, often&#xD;
resulting in fragmented, punctual, and functionalist responses. Nonetheless, the findings&#xD;
confirm that the social workers operating in the socio-legal field within the MPBA are aligned&#xD;
with the social direction of the professional ethical-political project, defending human rights&#xD;
and the universalization of historically acquired social rights. It is concluded that the&#xD;
instrumental dimension of Social Work equips professionals with the technical-scientific&#xD;
capacity to critically analyze social reality, enabling them to break away from merely technical,&#xD;
fragmented, and punctual practices.

      <title>Condições de trabalho profissional no SUAS em tempos da crise sociossanitária da Covid-19 no sertão paraibano: um estudo na 13a região geoadministrativa</title>

      <description>Título: Condições de trabalho profissional no SUAS em tempos da crise sociossanitária da Covid-19 no sertão paraibano: um estudo na 13a região geoadministrativa
Autor(es): Marques, Robéria Dantas
Orientador: Silva, Emanuel Luiz Pereira da
Abstract: The present study, whose theme is "Working conditions at SUAS in times of the social-&#xD;
sanitary crisis of Covid-19 in the Paraiban outback: a survey in the 13th RGA", has the&#xD;
&#xD;
main objective of analyzing the imbrications between the working conditions and the&#xD;
performance of social workers in SUAS, as professionals who work daily in attending&#xD;
to the fierce expressions of the social issue exacerbated by Covid-19 pandemic, in the&#xD;
13th Geoadministrative Region, Upper Outback region of Paraiba state. The relevance&#xD;
of this study consists in the search for understanding: how have the professional&#xD;
practice spaces being offered? Under what conditions have the social workers been&#xD;
performing their laboral activities at the Unified Social Assistance System (SUAS)?&#xD;
What were the implications of Covid-19 in this occupation space in the municipalities&#xD;
that distance themselves from the large large centers of Paraíba state, specially in the&#xD;
Paraiban Upper Outback, in the 13th Geoadministrative Region? On the other hand, it&#xD;
has been observed the absence of studies regarded to the workers of SUAS, which&#xD;
are of peculiar importance to understand the dynamics of the working environment in&#xD;
that place. The theoretical, methodological, material, historical and dialectical&#xD;
approach is processed in this essay about the following categories of analysis: work,&#xD;
professional performance and working conditions from the laboral relationship&#xD;
established within the daily action inserted in the context of flexibilization and&#xD;
precarious work. Starting from this approach, bibliographic and documentary&#xD;
references have been used as an investigative path, with quantitative-qualitative&#xD;
methodology during the data collection, as well as data analysis with the application of&#xD;
a semi-structured questionnaire and focus group altogether the social workers who&#xD;
labor at SUAS, in the municipalities of the 13th RGA of Paraíba state. From the&#xD;
analysis of the collected data it is possible to infer that the Covid-19 pandemic has&#xD;
deepened the precariousness that has been experienced by the social workers of&#xD;
SUAS, who has been working in the Upper Outback of Paraiba state, for years. Thus,&#xD;
we can consider that there has been some aggravating factors, such as a feeling of&#xD;
fear and illness, such as was stated during the dialogue established in the focus group,&#xD;
in a unique moment of this investigation. Therefore, there is an urgent need to react&#xD;
and understand that it is possible to go beyond. On the other hand, it is of particular&#xD;
importance to mobilize the category and everyone in the struggle for the maintenance&#xD;
of democracy, so that we can, in a very near future, ensure the existence and&#xD;
permanence of SUAS, improving its structure and working conditions for everyone who&#xD;
works with families and individuals who, in their turn, experience the difficult times of&#xD;
barbarism.

Abstract: Patriarchal relationships of gender, race/ethnicity, social class and sexuality are part&#xD;
of society's reality and, in this work, we analyze these relationships linked to the&#xD;
professional training of Social Work, which is a category composed mostly of women.&#xD;
The objective of this dissertation is to analyze the subjects whose central theme are&#xD;
debates about gender and which constitute the curricular components of&#xD;
undergraduate courses in Social Work at public Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)&#xD;
in the Northeast region. We have as central categories and concepts that support the&#xD;
theoretical and methodological paths the ethnic-racial dimensions, capitalism,&#xD;
patriarchy, class struggle, feminism, Ethical-Political Project, professional training,&#xD;
among others. The research approach is structured under the historical and&#xD;
dialectical materialist method that allowed the apprehension of the object in its&#xD;
entirety. The research process consisted of document analysis based on a&#xD;
quantitative-qualitative approach, information was collected based on the curricular&#xD;
structures and menus of the undergraduate courses in Social Work that made up the&#xD;
research universe. The Google Forms platform was used to collect information from&#xD;
professors responsible for subjects that corresponded to the field of investigation, the&#xD;
data collected were fundamental to consolidate the methodological elements of&#xD;
analysis. Finally, the result achieved indicates the challenges posed to Social Work&#xD;
with regard to anti-racist, anti-capitalist and anti-patriarchal professional training in&#xD;
dialogue with the Ethical-Political Project of the profession.
