dc.description.abstractThe study aimed to investigate the obstacles of an industry that manufactures ceramic products from Paraíba, regarding the elaboration of the Balanced Scorecard. A case study was developed in the industry, which was conducted through structured interviews with the controller seeking to understand the view of the same about the Balanced Scorecard and questionnaires applied to employees and customers of the company, reporting their Satisfaction. The findings of the research allowed us to conclude that the company has its own planning, uses some principles based on the perspectives of the BSC, but not comprehensively. Regarding the knowledge of the controller, the same already knew the tool, comprising well the structure of the BSC. As for the obstacles the implementation of the balanced scorecard, were considered: resistance of employees to change, the difficulty of communicating.pt_BR

dc.description.resumoO estudo objetivou investigar quais os obstáculos de uma indústria que fabrica produtos cerâmicos da Paraíba, quanto à elaboração do Balanced Scorecard. Foi desenvolvido um estudo de caso na indústria, que se deu através de entrevistas estruturadas com o controller buscando entender a visão do mesmo sobre o Balanced Scorecard e de questionários aplicados a funcionários e clientes da empresa, relatando as suas satisfações. Os achados da pesquisa permitiram concluir que a empresa possui um planejamento próprio, utiliza alguns princípios baseado nas perspectivas do BSC, mas não de forma abrangente. A respeito do conhecimento do controller, o mesmo já conhecia a ferramenta, compreendendo bem a estrutura do BSC. Quanto aos obstáculos a implantação do Balanced Scorecard, foram considerados: resistência dos funcionários à mudança, a dificuldade de comunicação.pt_BR
