A importância do estágio obrigatório na formação do bibliotecário: estudo de caso na Biblioteca do Centro de Educação - UFPB

Abstract

The study described on the curricular course of Bachelor of Library Science, held in the Library Sector Education Center UFPB. After completion of the disciplines that make up the curriculum of this course, the stage and was developed through an exploratory methodology, using as a research tool systemic observation, we extracted information to compose content of this scientific production. It can be said that the stage allowed the observation of the link between theory and practice. The activities that were substantial library that learning would not be limited to only the seizure of the contents seen in the classroom. The aspects that showed the relationship between theory and practice during the internship were reflected in routine related to the development of the collections, as well as the question of coexistence interpersonal interaction characterized by interactivity between the officials of the Education Centre Library UFPB and public there is present, taking advantage of the informational content provided by the institution. We conclude that the objective of providing practice the theoretical knowledge acquired during the course, thereby promoting a rapport with the student and the institution initiating the scientific work was clearly rewarding and pleasurable. Both the vision to take the stage as the principle really required was won by the conviction that the choice of the degree is directly linked to the different possibilities that the Library has to offer: physically libraries manage, disseminate information and create methodologies to facilitate power interaction among all who in one way or another have the information between its various and diverse forms of presentation, as a source of interdisciplinary knowledge.
