Representação temática da informação religiosa a partir da semântica discursiva: um olhar sobre o Evangelho de João

Abstract

Objective to analyze the possible themes and figures inserted in the text of the Gospel of John from the space-temporal context of preparation using as a basis the principles of discursive semantics. The methodology used was discursive semantics from the texts of the Gospel of John in the translation of João Ferreira de Almeida used by adherents of the Protestant creed as an example of religious text. The results of the review proposal raised the following categories of thematic classes in the text as to its origin: Jewish culture; original language (Greek and/or Hebrew); Roman customs; symbols of the Jewish ceremonial law ritual; Testimony of Jesus as the Christ. It was realized the wealth obtained from the use of this methodology of thematic representation from these categories, expanding the possibilities of understanding of religious text (exegesis); enabling the construction of information products that add both themes and figures, such as glossaries, lists of headers, thesauri, and others as we used to think in the research proposal. Indicates, in this way, a further investment in order to complete the analysis of the book as a whole, given the scope of its usefulness for scholars of this text.
