Música religiosa: uma breve análise das práticas musicais de igrejas cristãs

Abstract

This study sought to analyze some aspects of Christian religious music in the course of history, since music is an art that expresses our feelings. Therefore, it becomes of great value to understand how the music presents itself among the different Christian rituals and to make an analysis of the discourse of the singing groups. The general objective of this work is to understand the experience of Christian music in some Catholic and Protestant communities in the city of João Pessoa. Besides trying to understand which are the main categories present in the preaching of the songs and to describe the structure of spatial and visual distribution of the singing groups in these respective Churches. As a research method, direct observation, standing out as an analytical research, with analysis of qualitative bibliographic data, from material already published, as well as the "discourse analysis" of the musicians, as a way of expressing how the music has been changing from the contributions left by historical events, which contributed to the innovation of its execution in the Cults and Masses.
