Crianças e adolescentes em situação de rua no município de João Pessoa: análise dos serviços existentes

Abstract

Street people draw in Brazil a social profile of inequality that insists on staying, are people living in subhuman local, live precariously and depend on the help of others to survive. Children who experience these situations are subject to the delay in its development, since the abandonment, poverty and violence of any kind, are examples of living conditions trailing in his career, they need to develop methods of survival where they have the street as school . In the literature there are different understandings about this problem. However, it is necessary to determine whether these findings include services which support institutions and care to children and adolescents living on the streets in the city of Joao Pessoa offer. This research aims to analyze whether these services follow with their actions, so that is producing effect on the lives of these children. Methodology has as a study of secondary literature, descriptive and exploratory; targeting a study focusing on the same action. However, it was expected that examine the possibility of realizing the seriousness of the problem and be able to identify the services and actions struggling to sana them, and as main results, can be cited the full functioning of the institutions maintained by the municipal council, thus obtaining a positive result on the research conducted. Understanding that institutions are dealing with the difficulties encountered in day to day persevering way.
