ANÁLISE DE SONHOS RELIGIOSOS À LUZ DA LOGOTERAPIA: um estudo com estudantes universitários com o uso do Software Iramuteq

Abstract

The function of Logotherapy in the analysis of dreams is to make the patient more aware of the potential meanings of the future, to indicate possible solutions to existential problems, to discover strengths and latent meanings in the dimension of the past. Thus, the present study aimed to: understand the meanings of dreams in the light of Logotherapy, relating them to the perspective of the dreamer. For this, the software IRAMUTEQ and the theory of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis were used; 17 dreams were collected, but only four were used in this research. Four university students from a northeastern capital participated, with an average age of 25.5 years (sd = 6.40), two women and two men. The students were asked to describe a dream and interpret it freely. To that end, they used free association, a technique brought from psychoanalysis to Logotherapy, and were instructed to relate the dream symbols to the existential situation, that is, to what they were experiencing at that time. The results showed that the dreams presented classifications as: dream of religious conflict, mixed and of spiritual development. The findings of this study served to reaffirm that one can know the spiritual unconscious, making it possible to work with the true human dimension.
