O Neoinstitucionalismo Sociológico e a Estrutura Social Dooyeweerdiana: Uma nova abordagem sobre a política e suas instituições

Abstract

The present work analyzes two conceptions about the structure and social dynamics: the sociological neoinstitutionalism and the dooyeweerdian social theory. Neoinstitutionalism grows every day as a theory capable of unraveling the role of institutions in the social structure. Meanwhile, the dooyeweerdian social theory, elaborated by the dutch jurist Herman Dooyeweerd, although it also seeks to understand the various social structures through a radically Christian philosophy, gets a smaller space in political analyzes. From this observation, this study seeks to highlight the similarities and differences between the two theories cited in order to find new assumptions about the structure and social dynamics, aiming to discover how much they have in common. For this, works considered as references on the topic were selected, which served to support the comparative analysis. Finally, it was concluded that exists differences in relation to the definition of institutions and their origin, however, the approaches also share similarities when it comes to institutional change and influence on the behavior of individuals.
