Blog do bibliotecário: um ambiente colaborativo para os profissionais no mercado de trabalho

Abstract

The dispersion of information on various platforms on the Internet, makes it difficult to locate and consequently access. In this sense, the interest in studying this reality and the concern to find solutions such as Blogs intensified. In this direction, we propose the elaboration of a collaborative and integrative Blog for the librarian professionals, that allows the access, in one place, of information related to the labor market. Therefore, we ask: Does the information of interest to the librarian area spread on various platforms make it difficult or easy to access up-to-date information? Does the participation of contributors in a national blog facilitate access to updated information? The objective of this monograph was to gather information related to professional librarians in Brazil, in a single collaborative blog that allows the continuous updating of information in their area. From the perspective of systematizing and analyzing the delimited theme, the study developed was bibliographic and documentary. We identified and analyzed 31 blogs. As one of the results of this work, we found that there are more common than distinct characteristics in the Blogs identified in the area of library science in Brazil. From this identification, we conclude that there are common models regarding their layout structure, which indicates the existence of a basic standard for the construction of blogs. Another result was the construction, in this work, of a collaborative Blog contemplating the proposed objective. We also identified some types of Blogs, among them Blog in the scientific communication mode. We also noticed some difficulties or errors in the usability of blogs, as well as also evidenced the great importance of these blogs in the dissemination of information in all areas of knowledge and especially in library science.
