DA DIGITALIZAÇÃO DO SISTEMA FINANCEIRO À SUA INTERNACIONALIZAÇÃO: O CASO NUBANK

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to present the digital evolution of the financial system from the mid-twentieth century and how it works now, allowing these institution to internationalize. By showing data and information from the Nubank case, this work paper sought to exemplify 21st century finance through the changes made in the banking industry by financial technology companies (fintechs). To emphasizing the creation of a strong organizational culture as a primary factor in a company's success, and addressed normative and cultural issues including intercultural diversity as a means of promoting innovation and well-being among employees. Secondary sources were used to contest the regulatory issues, in addition to the need to keep up to date with reliable sources (preferably from the government itself and the platform in question) since it is a delicate and recent issue in our society. The research focused mainly on information from the last five years obtained digitally by the Nubank platform, since it was in 2017 that Nubank began its international expansion and from there many changes happened until the arrival of its IPO at the end of 2021.
