Beisebol Escolar: propostas lúdicas para a Educação Física

Abstract

Baseball is a very old and popular sport among countries like the United States, Cuba, Venezuela and Japan, in Brazil it is still little known, even though it appeared in the beginning of the 20th century, but there are several Baseball teams in Brazil. This article aims to analyze the level of student engagement for the practice of school Baseball. For this research, a qualitative exploratory approach was used. The sample consisted of 19 students from the 8th grade and 23 from the 8th grade of elementary school, from the school “Escola CPDAC”. Five classes lasting 50 minutes each were held, carrying out theoretical-practical activities that correspond to Baseball. At the end of the students' study, there was a great engagement in the people and students who learned about the practice, even a vision of the new foundation in their most playful practice.
