Serviços contábeis e inovações tecnológicas: um estudo acerca dos conhecimentos dos alunos das instituições de ensino superior no município de João Pessoa

Abstract

The central part of this monograph was a study on the opinion of undergraduate students of accounting courses in Institutions of Higher Education of Joao Pessoa in the form of classroom learning about their knowledge with respect to technological innovations related to accounting services. The objective is to present an overview on this opinion and impressions of students with respect to teaching, learning and knowledge of those involved in the issue. Regarding methodological procedures, this monograph had a descriptive character, by describing characteristics of the population and have observed facts using statistical methods as well as quantitative approach, by using simple statistical techniques in the analysis as the percentage of data tables as well as a qualitative study the variables related to the problem of technological innovations related to accounting services, using field research and drawing on the questionnaires for data collection. As for these, for the purpose of obtaining information and analysis, we proceeded with a tab, enabling the visualization of information in tables and graphs. Based on this, we analyzed the opinion of accounting students in four HEIs in João Pessoa. With the making of this research it became possible to describe the profile of the respondents to assess their opinions regarding issues related to the theme and glimpse the outlook of students and institutions in this regard. It was concluded that the respondents' opinion about teaching, research and extension offered by HEIs, as well as with respect to their knowledge gained in this research area has not submitted completely positive results, which revealed that some aspects of teaching, research and extension should be improved.
