Inovação e sustentabilidade : perspectivas da administração sobre a temática

Abstract

Over the years, humanity has undergone different types of transformations until it reached what it is today: A technological and developed society. However, within these transformations the environment has been harmed. Innovation and sustainability are currently alternatives to preserving the environment and helping to improve the quality of life on the planet. Thus, the present study aims to understand, through a bibliometric study, how the Administration area is discussing the relationship between socio-ecological innovation and sustainability in the last thirty years, and specifically, pursued the following objectives: mapping, by Brazilian regions, the evolution of the number of articles that address the relationship between socio-ecological innovation and sustainability; identify the key words presented in the articles; map the institutions to which the authors belonged when the articles were published; present the methodological aspects of the articles explored. To this end, the research is characterized as bibliometric and bibliographic, collecting data on the Scopus platform. Therefore, the results reveal that the area of Administration is still lacking in research that relates the themes of socio-ecological innovation and sustainability, however, as research is limited to just one platform, more research is needed to further expand the vision that Administration has on innovation and sustainability.
