OLHARES EMANCIPADORES: MAPEAMENTO DA EXPERIÊNCIA ESTÉTICA DE AUTISTAS COM A SÉRIE ATYPICAL

Abstract

Understanding fictionalization as a human characteristic and literature as a right, it is necessary to think the teaching of literary reading in an inclusive perspective, which attends to the specificity of each subject and values its subjectivity in the construction of knowledge. Thinking specifically about the audience of autistic people and considering the difficulties in communication and social interaction, literature can help in the understanding of language and of the other, and also promote awareness and acceptance of the general community about the spectrum. Therefore, the aim of this work was to investigate the possibilities of emancipating the aesthetic experience of autistic people with narratives texts. The methodology adopted was the qualitative analysis of autistic people's speech in excerpts from the podcast Introvertendo, in episodes #36 - Atypical comentado por Autistas and #183 - Atypical, identifying concepts of Literary Anthropology, a theory founded by Wolfgang Iser (1996, 1999), present in the podcasters' aesthetic experience with the series and the possibilities of emancipation through fiction in episode #163 - Narrativas Ficcionais e o Autismo. With this, it was realized that the contact of the presenters with the fictional texts allowed them to live complete and complex aesthetic experiences, leading to qualitative leaps, changes in behavior in personal life, and advances in the ability to interpret increasingly complex texts.
