Estágio Supervisionado obrigatório em ensino religioso: um olhar para o componente curricular do curso de licenciatura em Ciências das Religiões da UFPB

Abstract

This work arose from the need to investigate how the mandatory supervised internship occurred within the undergraduate course in Religious Sciences at UFPB, since its creation in 2008 to the present day. Religious education has always been present in Brazilian education, however, with the creation of undergraduate degrees in Religious Sciences in Brazil, supervised internships are consequently mandatory, since it is an undergraduate course. Therefore, this work had the general objective of analyzing the trajectory of the curricular component Mandatory Supervised Internship (ESO) in Religious Education (ER), of the Bachelor's Degree in Religious Sciences (CR) at UFPB, and its role in teacher training. Specifically, the work sought to investigate the historical data of the mandatory supervised internship within the course and; compare the pedagogical practices of the curricular component from the time of the creation of the course until the present (2008 to 2024). This is a qualitative, descriptive, bibliographical and documentary research. To this end, we used readings relevant to the topic, documents and resolutions that lead to the regularization of the supervised internship in the undergraduate program in Religious Sciences at UFPB. As bibliographic references, we used the writings of: Tiago Rafael Soares de Sousa Guedes; Selma Garrido Pimenta; Maria Socorro Lucena Lima and Linda Darling, Miele and Possebon, Maria José Holmes, among others. We found that there has been considerable progress in the work developed with the ESO curricular component, since the creation of the course until now. We conclude that the internship in CR in the undergraduate program is an indispensable component for the strengthening and recognition of the profession of duly licensed RE teacher. We hope that this work contributes to the compliance with and maintenance of the current legislation related to internship programs.
