A participação da família no processo da leitura: uma revisão da literatura

Abstract

It is observed that the family can contribute in different aspects of the individual, starting from gestation. Learning occurs at every moment, and reading is one of the skills that, when correctly stimulated, makes the process easier. In view of this, the present article aims to conduct a literature review on the role of the family in the reading process of children, as well as its specific objectives: to analyze the relationship between family and reading learning, to identify effective reading strategies for family engagement, and to understand the benefits of family participation in the process of acquiring reading skills. The objectives were achieved through the publications found, confirming the need for the family to participate in the entire process of reading acquisition so that the child can have good development, reducing the likelihood of facing difficulties. It is concluded that family involvement is essential, and further studies are needed that consider the various factors within the family environment that influence the process of reading skill development, also taking into account that the psychopedagogue can provide indispensable support for this learning.
