| dc.description.abstract | In Parkinson's disease (PD) changes in executive function cause the most common cognitive damage. Thus, the aim of the study was to analyze and evaluate the effects of the association of transcranial direct current electrical stimulation techniques, treadmill motor training, and dual tasking on executive and motor function in people with PD. Six participants with mean age of 60 years; mean H&Y of 2.2; mean level higher than 700mg/day of levodopa administration performed; performed 12 sessions of treadmill training enriched by tDCS, associated or not with Dual Task training. When analyzing Before and After time, there was significant difference in motor function for MDS-UPDRS III, TUG and TUG-DT. Regarding executive function, there was no difference in time for Stroop Test, verbal fluency and Trail making test. Therefore, we conclude that treadmill training associated with transcranial stimulation is effective for the therapy of motor outcomes; however, further studies are needed to understand the effects on cognitive dysfunction in people with PD. | pt_BR |
