The objective of this study was to evaluate the inclusion of agro-industrial fruit residues (pineapple, acerola, and cajá) by considering qualitatively and quantitatively the feces of growing pigs according to the inclusion of residues in the diets. The experiment was carried out at the Swine Laboratory of CCHSA/UFPB, Campus III, Bananeiras-PB. Twenty-five female swine of the same commercial lineage, approximately 90 days old and with an average initial weight of 50.89 ± 3.24 kg, were distributed in randomized blocks. The experimental treatments were: positive control diet (CP) with synthetic antioxidant (BHT); negative control diet (CN) without synthetic antioxidant; diet with the inclusion of 7.5% pineapple residue meal (AB); diet with the inclusion of 7.5% acerola residue meal (AC); and diet with the inclusion of 7.5% cajá residue (CJ), totaling five treatments and five replicates. The inclusion of 7.5% agro-industrial residues of tropical fruits (pineapple, acerola, and cajá) in the diets of growing pigs. The inclusion of 7.5% agro-industrial residues produced distinct results, with no statistically significant differences in fecal production in the natural matter, but significant differences (P>0.05) were observed for the acerola and cajá diets, demonstrating an increase in fecal excretion in the daily dry matter according to the type of feed, with the most fibrous feeds accounting for the highest daily excretion volumes. It is concluded that growing pigs can receive diets containing 7.5% of agro-industrial residues of pineapple, acerola and cajá, although they increased fecal production in dry matter, they did not compromise the levels of ST, SV and nitrogen excretion, therefore not representing environmental risks.pt_BR
