Islamismo na Paraíba: elementos da cultura muçulmana na Academia Mesquita Brother

Abstract

ABSTRACT This Course Completion work aims to analyze the elements of Islamic culture in the Brothers Mosque Academy, understand the meaning behind each image, as well as every ritual of communication that is done with the divine Islamic world. Through participatory research and the assessment of the Islamic Community's discourse in Paraíba, we propose to begin a better understanding of how the first Muslim Muhammad Al Mesquita is traced in the state of Paraíba, as well as the connection of boxing with Islam, martial religion within the Boxing Academy, For the development of the research we use the ethnographic method, with emphasis on research Descriptive - Observe, record and analyze facts or variables collected in reality itself. The objective is to search, classify, explain and interpret the phenomena that occur, in order to understand how the systems of cultural meanings of the "other" are organized. Observe what the analyzed group says about themselves and how they identify the other participants. Within this Sacred Atmosphere, we find a contextualized "New Islam", moved to its historical time, its political and social reality, the result of a new way of being a Muslim in search of peace in a postmodern society.
