It’s a bibliographic study, with an exploratory bias, about the theme. Therefore, it was formulated the following guiding question: In which way the use of digital technologies affects the teenagers in a social, affective an educational scope? Thus, it was found an expressive amount of research about the theme. According with the data of the Manager Committee of internet in Brazil (2014), around 81% of the teenagers uses internet every day, showing the comprehensiveness of the use of digital technologies, and showing the importance of the scientific investigation about related themes. The text presents the information’s collected and systemized in sections, that feature the affective implications, mainly in family relation; social, approaching questions that affect the real and virtual social relations; and cognitive, highlighting the changed cerebral functions and the effects in learning. Tratase de um estudo bibliográfico, de caráter exploratório, sobre o tema. Para tanto, formulou-se a seguinte questão norteadora: De que forma o uso das tecnologias digitais afetam os adolescentes em âmbito social, afetivo e educacional? Assim, verificou-se um conjunto expressivo de pesquisas sobre o tema. De acordo com dados do Comitê Gestor da Internet no Brasil (2014), cerca de 81% dos adolescentes fazem uso da internet todos os dias, evidenciando a abrangência do uso das tecnologias digitais e mostrando a importância da investigação científica sobre temas correlatos. O texto apresenta as informações coletadas e sistematizadas em seções que tratam das implicações afetivas, principalmente na relação com a família; sociais, abordando questões que afetam as relações sociais reais e virtuais; e cognitivas, destacando as funções cerebrais modificadas e os efeitos para a aprendizagem.
