Considerações sobre a segurança da informação no acervo do arquivo eclesiástico da Paraíba

Abstract

To analyze the aspects related to the information security in the archival collection, having as the general objective to understand the importance of the information security in the Ecclesiastical Archive of Paraíba, characterized as exploratory, descriptive and bibliographic, the qualitative approach being utilized to analyze the gathered information. The research participant is the notary of the archive. It was used as instrument of research the interview. The results indicate that the researched knows about the questions related to the information security in the archives. There is no operational plan, however, there are procedures that secure the information within the archive. As for the barriers found in the archive, it wasn’t found any, but to ensure the information security of the archive it is necessary to monitor, be careful with the access from the users and the usage of documents, as well with the professional activity in the archives.
