Perspectiva econômica da caprinocultura no município de Monteiro – PB

Abstract

This work aims to analyze the organization of goat activity in the municipality of Monteiro, PB. The research is configured in a survey of secondary and primary information, taking a quantitative and qualitative approach. In this sense, the research was based on identifying the goat farmers and their productive arrangements with a field research in the municipality, as well as semi-structured research to highlight the support institutions to the producer and the impacts of the Public Policies adopted to maintain the supply and the production demand. Seeking to understand the relationship between the organization and its internal and external environment in order to identify the threats and opportunities arising from its production and marketing process. There were barriers to the commercial evolution of goats in the region, necessitating a revitalization of the PAA / Milk and the adaptation of caprinocultores to the sanitary legislation to commercialize their milk production and derivatives.
