A autogratificação sexual na infância: um desafio para professoras da educação infantil

Abstract

The present research aims to investigate the issue of sexual self-satisfaction in childhood and its repercussion in the context of Early Childhood Education. This topic will be addressed in the perspective of the following questions: How to understand the occasional attitude of children who develop sexual self-satisfaction behaviors in a school context? How do teachers understand and respond to these situations? How does the university address issues related to child sexuality in the teacher training course? The solution to such problems will be guided by the following: first, we try to understand the self-satisfaction behavior of sexual pleasure in childhood in the light of Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic work as a starting point and other authors such as Anna Freud, Donald Woods Winnicott, who developed and deepened this theme; then, it must discusses the relationship between child sexuality and the educational process in the school context and its challenges; finally, taking into account an initial and succinct analysis of concrete cases, it is pointed out to the difficulties faced by the teachers in the accompaniment with the children in school context, also verifying the possibility of indicating adequate ways in the pedagogical procedure of accompaniments of these situations in the school; Finally, we will try to explain how this theme is being worked out in teacher training courses, verifying to what extent they present limits to a more concrete formation for the problems found in the school. The research will be developed through the reading of classical works of psychoanalysis and a more recent bibliography that discusses the issue of sexuality and sex education in school.
