Conhecimento dos estudantes de contabilidade acerca dos investimentos financeiros: um estudo na Universidade Federal da Paraiba

Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to analyze the level of knowledge of the accounting sciences students of the Federal University of Paraíba on finances, conceptualizing and showing the main characteristics of the National Financial System, financial intermediation and financial investments. Many decide to invest without sizing the risks involved and not knowing if they fit their profile. The research was developed through the achievement of quiz electronic, applied to the students of the University under study, and then the quantitative analysis of the data obtained for the comparison of results in the proposed research problem was carried out, arriving at the conclusion that the great most of the respondents with regard to knowledge about the investments, have a reasonable level, or the same is insufficient, and with regard to the most used category we observe the savings. However, there is a willingness to learn more about financial investments and their benefits.
