A relação entre pais e escola: a influência da família no desempenho escolar do aluno

Abstract

The family / school relationship is therefore an important element in the children's education process, especially when it comes to the stage of development in early childhood education. The theme in question has driven the production of studies that increasingly focus on understanding the role and importance of monitoring and approaching parents / guardians, when their interaction with the teaching-learning process performed at and by the schoo. Having said that, we aim with this work to raise some positive and negative aspects of this family / school relationship, as a way of elucidating how relevant this dialogue is for the development of children. The work continues supported methodologically in a bibliographic research strategy, in view of the problems that we are having to face with the pandemic of COVID-19, forcing us to trace new ways and ways of adaptation. In addition to the bibliographic support, we formulated a questionnaire about the role of the family in approaching the school, in order to try to elucidate, even partially, what we are calling positive / negative in this relationship. Our research object is the elementary school I, Municipal Elementary School Severino Marinheiro, located in the Municipality of JuazeirinhoPB. The study continues supported by some theoretical references that help us to think about the family / school: ARIES (1981), CHINOY (2008), LIBÂNEO (2000), PRADO (1981), TIBA (1996), among others that discuss this theme. At the end of this Course Conclusion Work, we intend to contribute to the debate around this theme that is so recurrent in contemporary times.
