As vidas suscetíveis em contos de Olhos d´Água, de Conceição Evaristo

Abstract

The research in question intends to analyze some of the short stories in the book Olhos d'água, written by the writer Conceição Evaristo, published in the year 2015. The tales, namely, are: Duzu Querença; We agreed not to die; Ayoluwa, the joy of the people. We intend to investigate, in addition to the specificities of each story, a common thematic axis that traverses the narratives chosen, the precarious life of the characters, devoid of fundamental guarantees of survival and, also, the aptitude to transform their realities, the possibility of modification, of "inventing survivals". For this purpose, we will use a critical fortune in this respect.
