Software de informação como ferramenta para o monitoramento de dados de saúde da pessoa idosa

Abstract

Health Information Systems (HIS) establish a set of components that act in an integrated manner, capable of structuring, operationalizing, supervising, monitoring and evaluating the performance and quality of services. Objective: To identify the findings in the literature that address the monitoring of information in relation to the health of the elderly person; to know the idea of managers about software of information on the health of the elderly person and to build an Information software for monitoring the health of the elderly person. Method: Review study - This is a study of integrative review. The bibliographic research was performed on electronic databases (BDENF), (LILACS), (WEB OF SCIENCE), (CINAHL) and (SCIELO), in the period from 2009 to 2018, in Portuguese, English and Spanish. The search strategies were determined using the Boolean AND, then, the following filters were selected: full text available, main subject, limit, language, year and type of document. The research was carried out in the months of May and June 2018. Field Research - A semi-structured questionnaire was elaborated, with items of interest to the survey, containing 27 quantitative identifications and 8 discursive questions and being applied with the managers of health districts of João Pessoa. Results: The review study showed that the articles found addressed the monitoring and health information system, but did not relate them to the health of the elderly population. This study shall guide to alert and inform managers and professionals about the gap in data records in the information systems of the country regarding the health of the elderly population. The data collected were analyzed and presented, emerging from the opinion of the managers of the information system for BC. They all responded that there is no specific system that brings information on the health of the elderly person. The Technological Product, was built using Google forms, containing the team of origin, the month of references and the 27 questions containing the production related to the health of the elderly population of each territory. Conclusion: Regarding the quality of the information, it is still necessary to carry out a study aiming at raising awareness and the consequent commitment of the health professional with the record of his/her daily activities, and there is still a shortage of papers published on this topic. However, this software will be of fundamental importance for the management and for the professionals who compose the family health teams of the municipality of João Pessoa, once it, along with its monthly update, will allow the municipality to update data for a better understanding of its total source for analysis and monitoring of the health of the elderly person.
