| Resumo: | O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar as várias violências contra a mulher presentes nos contos “Cinco Cartas para Rael” e “Xeque-mate”, extraídos da obra Mulher Mat(r)iz (2011) da escritora Miriam Alves, como também nos contos “Aramides Florença” e “Shirley Paixão”, extraídos da coletânea Insubmissas Lágrimas de Mulheres (2016), de Conceição Evaristo. No decorrer do estudo, analisaremos a maneira como as personagens vítimas de diversas agressões, físicas e simbólicas, reagem a essas violências e se libertam. Para embasar esse estudo e compreender as questões sobre violência, representação da mulher negra na sociedade patriarcal e o processo de dominação masculina, usaremos os estudos de Heleieth Saffioti e Pierre Bourdieu , além de dialogarmos com a teoria de intelectuais negras, tais como, Lélia González, Sueli Carneiro e Beatriz Nascimento |
| Abstract: | This study aims to analyze the various forms of violence against women present in the short stories “Cinco Cartas para Rael” and “Xeque-mate”, taken from the work Mulher Mat(r)iz (2011) by the writer Miriam Alves, as well as in the short stories “Aramides Florença” and “Shirley Paixão” by Conceição Evaristo extracted from her work Insubmissas Lágrimas de Mulheres (2016). Much more than that, we analyze how these characters characters victims of several agressions, physical and symbolic, react to this violence and how they free themselves. To support the studies and understand the issues of violence, representation of the female figure in patriarchal society and the process of male domination, we will use the studies of Heleieth Saffioti and Pierre Bourdieu , in addition to dialoguing with texts by black intellectuals, such as, Lélia González, Sueli Carneiro and Beatriz Nascimento |
