A modernização do judiciário: Uso da inteligência artificial e a nova realidade de advogados e juízes

Abstract

The work has as its theme "The modernization of the Judiciary: Use of artificial intelligence and the new reality of lawyers and judges", technology has developed exponentially, the Law, as it could not be different, has also undergone relevant changes with the implementation of new technologies. Due to this context, there are frequent questions about the impacts that the use of such tools may cause to the Judiciary, lawyers and judges, such questions circulate mainly around the use of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.). Visualizing such scenario, the general objective of this paper is to analyze and present the perspectives and the impact of the use of Artificial Intelligence by lawyers, judges and the Judiciary. To achieve this goal, the research method used to conduct the work was hypothetical-deductive, with a qualitative approach, exercised through the analysis of statistical data and bibliographic and documentary research, which enabled the achievement of the research objective. In conclusion, despite the obstacles for the full application of artificial intelligence, its benefits can already be experienced, the impact of the use of new technologies has presented itself as beneficial, demonstrating, therefore, the need for the integration of the Judiciary, lawyers and judges with these technological tools, in this sense, it is up to these professionals and the judiciary to promote a harmonious relationship with technology, providing an efficient jurisdictional provision.
