Programa agora vai: relato de experiência e contribuições para a formação do professor da EJA

Abstract

This work is a reflection about the experience of the Literacy Programme for Young People and Adults named "AGORA VAI" as a possibility for graduation in the EJA. The general objective of the work is to provide registration subsidies to the restlessness that permeates the EJA modality, appointing some life's experiences well as to conceptualize the Education of Young People and Adults, highlighting the specificities of their subjects, discussing the issue of the citizenship of the subjects of the EJA in the referred programme and the formation of teachers to this area, reporting some life stories that weave a web of instigation by using descriptive methodology, promoting thereby a knowledge exchange between the Conde community and the Federal University of Paraíba, important contribution promotes the citizenship and the right to education throughout life assured by the Magna Carta of 1988. The theoretical fundamentation of the work is based on the bibliographic research in the dialog with authors that discuss the Education of Young People and Adults like Miguel Arroyo (2017), Marta Khol (1999), Jane Paiva (2009), Paulo Freire (1997) e Magda Soares (2018). The study is of qualitative nature once the object of the research is the human relationship between student and teacher in the context of literacy program, the research field was the municipal school João Gomes Ribeiro in the city of Conde in the Paraíba state. The general objective of the work was achieved providing a registration to the "AGORA VAI" program into the Conde municipality during the experience as literacy teacher and reflecting the knowledges in the formation process and acting in the EJA modality, as well as well as the highlights of the specificities of its subject. It was discussed the citizenship of the subjects of the EJA in the program and the contribution to the teachers training in this area.
