Práticas de leitura e disseminação da informação em biblioteca escolar

Abstract

The present study aimed to analyze the proposed educational activities in the school library Teacher Neroaldo Pontes de Azevedo mediated interdisciplinary curriculum in order to encourage the practice of reading the students (as) in elementary school I. Therefore, the study was based - on a qualitative research approach for better characterize the interaction of teaching and learning variable. As an instrument for data collection was used for observation and the questionnaire (open and closed questions) and with the participation of teachers from the Municipal School Senator Ruy Carneiro and staff of the Library Teacher Neroaldo Pontes de Azevedo. The study found that in addition to the omission of the teachers regarding the use of the library, and the disengagement of the employees in terms of strategies that enable the practice of reading, there is also a lack of trained professionals in the academic area in library science. But mostly, made it clear that the library is still a distant reality.
