CURRÍCULO E ENSINO DE HISTÓRIA NA EJA: Uma narrativa fundamentada na experiência do Estágio Docente

Abstract

The present work deals with a reflective narrative about the experience of teaching History in Youth and Adult Education (EJA), carried out during the development of the Teaching Internship at EMEF Luiz Vaz de Camões, located in the city of João Pessoa, PB. The research emphasizes a report of observation, analysis and reflection specifically in cycles III and IV of this modality of basic education. Through research, we sought to investigate and understand how the practice of teaching History in EJA is immersed in the problem of the lack of definition of a specific curriculum for this type of education in the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), which is the main document that organizes and guides the pedagogical practice in basic education. The research construction methodology was multiple, starting from a bibliographic review supported by academic-scientific material with the purpose of supporting the historical discussion of the theme in question, followed by the observation of the practice of teaching History in EJA. An interview was also used with the teacher in practice at the aforementioned school in order to gather more precise information about the perspective between teaching-learning and the History curriculum in EJA. Finally, it is important to emphasize that the means used were sufficient to recognize some parameters that made it possible to answer the central question of the research in the sense of understanding the didacticpedagogical strategies adopted, considering the great autonomy that both the school institution and the teacher who works in the mentioned teaching modality.
